Best car for the money in the market

best looking sedan, modern, comfortable, runs great. Is not boring like the Camry, it compares more to the accord but better looking.

Stylish but cheap

I've driven all sorts of car due to travel. TO me Hyundai spent most of the money to the engineers of t because everything about this car is cheap. The base underneath the seat was a already coming apart and the car only had 3000 kms on it. The steering wheel is thin, made with cheap plastic, all the interior is made of cheap hard plastic. The car I rented, when you pop open the trunk, you notice a sloppy job with the welding of the medal. Compared to other cars, Toyota and Honda, the Sonata is built with cheap everything. Again, they just styled it nice but everything else doesn't live up to what it looks like on the outside. The acceleration is a bit choppy at times as well. This car reminds me of a Kia. And Kia is as cheap as you can get. And nothing of importance, when you lock the doors using the remote, the sound letting you know it's locked sounds like it's coming from a tiny car like a Honda Fit. If you don't care for cheap interior and cheap everything else, and just want to drive a stylish car, this is for you.

Our New Sonata Thoughts

We purchased this car about two months ago, and was amazed at how much we enjoyed it. There is some road noise and were told by other owners that if we replace the tires later with better ones that will be reduced by about 60%. We took the car on a 1,000 mile trip and averaged about an overall MPG rating of 31.4. (that was not by the computer in the car but by a calculator. Yesterday we traveled to Idaho and back for a total of 93 miles, I noticed the car indicated 40.6MPG the true MPG was 39.4 (Love this car)

Looks like I spent $30,000

Love the styling this car has inside and out, I got the SE model which has a sport tuned suspension whatever that means, the dual exhaust, and leather trimmed interior, I read some reviews that complained that the SE had a rougher ride, but I can't really tell. I like the bluetooth, it is great quality and once it is paired to your phone it connects to your phone right when you get in your car, also I will never miss another call due to loud music because it shuts down the music and rings so that is kind of nice. Overall I really love the car, and it fit my budget, I paid 21,700, and I fell like It looks like a $30,000 car.

2.0T - Best car for the money, hands down

I waited over a year for the 2.0T to arrive in showrooms and it was worth the wait. I picked up my Sonota SE 2.0T for just under $23K. What an incredible value! I am 6'5", and I feel it has great interior room, is well built, add offers amazing styling both inside and out. A recent visit to Korea for a wedding made even more confident in Hyundai and Korean products in general. Pretty much all Taxi cabs in Korea are a Sonata or another Hyundai product. They BEAT those cars up in Korea and they keep on going. Never once did I see a broken down car there. For me, it was a great testimate to how the sonata will hold up years down the road. I will mention that my Sonata (like most others), had an issue with pulling to the left. I was impressed with Hyundia's handling of the situation and their open admission that it is a design flaw. They gave me a rental car while mine was being repaired and I was pleased with the results. The comments by other reviewers about gas milleage is not true: I have the Turbo Model and drive "spirtedly" and still manage to average about 24 MPG between city and highway. I think that the below reviewer should "review" thier driving habits if they'd like to achieve the vehicle's proper MPG.

Best car I ever owned

Excellent handling, power, style makes this car stands out.Best feature is the rear heated seats. The turbo beats BMW 330i and other high end car without shelling extra thousands of dollars.

Next car will be a Honda

I bought the 2011 Sonata as an impulse purchase when my 2008 model was in the shop. Despite lovingly the exterior styling, it is not worth the price, especially the Limited edition I paid nearly 30,000.00 for. The problems include: frequent stalling, load vibrations, sub standard stereo quality, leaking rear window and poor fit and finish. On the contrary, my parents and brother drive Honda vehicles that have proven to be what I has expected from my '11 Sonata Limited. I do credible Hyundai for some very nice looking cars of late, but there is much to be desired.
