2011 Hyundai SONATA consumer reviews

I bought it as a one year old used car, drove it for 7 years and the only repair it had was a starter. My granddaughter now has it and hopefully it will last her until she finishes college. Just bought a 2017 Sonata to replace it.

Terrible paint job, paint is following off back bumper, They say warranty is off, I only have 80,000 km and have owned many cars and have never seen paint fall off like this. I would never buy a Hyundai for this reason, the value of this car is gone since paint on back bumper is gone.

The lovage of the style was to just be completely comfortable on any given day. All of a sudden my heart could speak.millage efficient.gas efficient. Must purchase.

The reason Hyundai gives you a 10 year 100k warranty, is because at 100,001 miles, they fall apart. It’s a cheap car, so I guess you get what you pay for. Nothing but issues. I have to admit, the service department at my local dealership was great, Huffines Hyundai in McKinney, TX. I’m guessing they know the cars are junk, so they take care of you. I wouldn’t buy another one. Spend the extra grand or two and buy a Honda, Toyota or Ford.

I love my car but I have had about 10 recalls. My car had about 104000 miles and I’d useing about 2 quarts of oil between changed. I have taken really good care of it. All they tell me I need to do I do. One recall was the engine and I am so afraid it will quit on me. Dealer tells me it’s ok however. Now a new recall on possible fire in engine and now I have to wait on a letter 😩. I can’t afford a new car since I am 74 years old. What do I do ?

This car has been a good car for me and has been very reliable! The heated seats are great for cool morning and the Bluetooth features make it safe to receive phone calls while driving.

This has been a great car that has met my needs for almost 5 years. No major repairs have been needed and the vehicle is very reliable.

I’m 6’3 and I have room to be comfortable with a passenger behind me which is always a plus very sleek exterior can drive for any occasion

My Sonata 2.0 limited has been nothing but reliable for The Last 5 Years. I have had no mechanical issues whatsoever I have put brakes on it and a battery.. the car has ran flawlessly. It's fast and has tons of features. An exceptional bargain for the price.
