I purchased my car used.
I purchased my car used. It was a trade-in to a Toyota dealer in San Antonio, Texas. It started off as a rental in Florida and I am the 3rd individual to own it. It has been an overall good car. But, the AC control knob that controls the fan speed has gotten stuck om low. I can still control the temp, but on cold mornings, it takes forever to defrost the windows, and om hot days, forever to cool the car. Also, there are times the screen that shows the back-up camera doesn't work. There are big-time blind spots with this car, so the camera is necessary. When the screen goes out, so does the radio. I am unable to turn it on, no volume, or changing stations. It's as if there is no radio at all. I thought at first I may need a new control knob, but now I am thinking there may be a wiring problem... such as a disconnect exfed or burned wire. I don't think it's a fuse. If so, it wouldn't work at all. Any suggestions?

Quite possible one of the best driving cars i've ridden
Quite possible one of the best driving cars i've ridden in. Sleek design, decent ft/lbs of torque, especially in the turbo model. The shifts are incredibly smooth, and have had 0 issues with anything since owning the car. Bought it used, with 70k miles on it, and it still runs incredibly smoothly

Awesome car for a new driver
This was the first car I ever got when I got my license, and I absolutely loved it for the two years I had it. My only complaints are that the car is very low to the ground so you have to be careful on hills and whatnot and that it doesn't have very good pickup. Otherwise, it's an adorable little car. It was super comfortable to drive in on the interstate to and from college (3 hour drive). It had great gas mileage, and being able to use the 87 gas definitely saved me money. The speaker system was awesome, too! And the car turned really sharp, which was also really nice.

AC disaster!!
There is a problem with the interior where the AC knob plugs into the internal wiring of the car. Multiple people have had problems with this part frying and there is no recall or any protection. This piece conveniently fries out after your warranty is void. The dealership wants to charge us 5k to fix it when it’s a 32$ part. Just beware that this AC problem is huge and costly so do your research and you will see that many have a fried plugin inside the interior and the knob of your AC will go out. And when you take it apart the plug attached to the wiring is burnt. Hyundai won’t just fix it unless you have a warranty. And this usually doesn’t happen until after 60k miles! It’s so frustrating.

Good car, for a good MSRP
Bought it with about 36k miles and I’m around 46k now with very little problems, good gas mileage, and good power for the price range. Had only minor issues like the seal on the front passenger window starting to have a small leak and a leak in the windshield wiper reservoir. But, there’s also a 50/50 chance that could’ve been from the previous owner.

Really fun to drive!
I went with the 6 speed manual to keep the price within my range and I am very happy with it. Car runs great, shifts smoothly, comfortable (plenty of leg and head room) and is really fun to drive! I am very happy with my purchase.

I like this car!
This car is so awesome to drive and fun. It drives really well and handles so much better than my 2010 Honda Civic that I had before this Veloster Turbo.

Extremely fun to drive
I really look forward to my commute to work in the Velocitor. It handles extremely well, and has more power than I expected. It surpasses my expectations of a small car as far as handling and performance while simultaneously getting gas mileage.

Favorite car I’ve owned and I’m 70 years old.
Fun to drive car that’s eye catching and gas saving. 3 door with hatchback has plenty of room for groceries and trips to the big warehouse stores. A car you want to show your personality.
