What A Car!

My wife & I bought our '04 G35 sedan new exactly four years ago. After 50k miles, our Infinity is, without reservation, the very best car we've ever owned. Outstanding handling, super performance, plus luxury & comfort features topped off with Japanese quality and reliability make the G35 an all-time winner. We've been very impressed with the dealer, too - top-notch professionalism and always first-class service. The only maintenance required in 50k miles has been regular oil (Castrol Syntech) and filter changes, plus a set of brake pads and new tires. The G35 is only our 2nd new car in 32 years of marriage - our first was an '84 VW Jetta. Like the Jetta, we look forward to keeping it at least 10 years. Infinity will easily sell every car they can build in the future if they keep making them like this one. Thumbs up, G35!

Nice, Reliable, Beautiful G35 coupe!!!

I've bought a G35 coupe with a Stillen stage 2 supercharger with intercooler that Infiniti dealership installed while promoting their G35 few years ago. What can I say? A sweet ride!!! Very sporty, offers the best handling I've experienced, but of course, the car is lowered & has Nismo 18" wheels & Sumitomo tires which drift just awesome!! I have driven BMW 330ci which I loved, but this G35 has more power than most people would need in everyday driving, looks sexy inside and out with over $30K invested to make it a very special custom show car. I was looking for a regular G35 coupe with aero and sport package, but this G35 looks better & is faster than the new G37, so overall, I'm very happy & impressed with it. In my opinion, my G35 offers performance as good as a BMW M3, mechanical reliability superior to Acura, Mercedes or Audi, and looks better than any American, German or Japanese sports coupe, well, if it wouldn't be custom, the new M3 and 335 coupe look better in my opinion, but cost a lot more... Otherwise, I can't think of a better vehicle for a single young man! Seeing positive reaction from ladies as if I'm driving a Ferrari definitely makes me realize this investment is worth the money, even with limited comfort and fuel economy... And of course with a GT-R entering US market by summer 2009, looks like I will remain Nissan fan for many years to come, especially when it comes to high performance sport cars. The only second car I would choose now is a 2007 BMW 335i convertible - for summer fun...

Not good the higher the mileage

I love the styling of the car and the stock exhaust sounds really nice. The car went through front tires very quickly. Had a few other small problems but not to bad. Oh and Expensive service at dealership especially with brakes..Fun to drive though :)

Amazing car, saved my life!

I bought this car used about 8 months ago. The drive was amazing! I cannot give enough thumbs up on this vehicle. I just recently got into a horrible accident where I got T-Boned, hit a wall and then went head on into a tree. I came out with only bruises and a sprained ankle. (Wish I could post pictures, you would wonder how I came out alive). Needless to say I am now Infiniti's biggest fan. This car withstood a side impact of someone who ran a stop sign and hit me on the passenger side, going 40 mph. From there I hit a concrete wall and slammed into a tree. All the air bags deployed and not one burned me because Infiniti's seat belt held me perfectly in place! If you're looking for a performance care that you can have fun in while being 100% assured you're safe, the G35 is the way to go! You won't regret it and I haven't either. I will never buy anything but an Infiniti again! By the way, after that side impact at 40 mph...the entire cabin inside stayed in one piece! Nothing caved in on me! Per the fire rescue, police and the body shop..."that car did what it was built to do, you're lucky to still be here!"

Performance and Fun To Drive

This vehicle has all the bells and whistles that you'd want in a performance automobile. Workmanship and materials are excellent. It has plenty of power and is extremely responsive. The coupe models with 18" or 19" wheels and sport tuned suspension will provide the best handling. Brembo brake package provides excellent stopping distances. Manual transmission version (6MT) has a narrow shift gate with a short throw making it quick and fun to drive. The styling and appearance are superb and turn heads all the time. Thus far reliability has not been an issue and an extended warranty is available through Infiniti for qualifing vehicles. This was a replacement for a BMW coupe and value for price paid is head and shoulders above BMW. Service after the sale has surpassed my expectations.

Great in all aspects

Bought an 04 G35 Coupe in May 2007 with 6500 miles. I felt like I had a brand new car so I expected it to perform like one... and it did. I do not like leather so much because of the sweat factor but the seats are very comfortable. The ride is smooth yet firm. Handling is awsome. Tends to over steer when accelerating through a curve (which to me feels like I am in more control) and understeer during neg accelaration in a curve, but that's physics and the G never gives one the imnpression that you are in trouble (unless you are stupid like me when I took that exit ramp at 65 one night!!). I have never had a chance to actually red line (6500) in fifth gear but at 130 MPH she seems to hunker down and one feels very much in control. I would LOVE to take a few laps at Daytona in this G35. Highly recommend. 4.5 stars

Good car for a nice price

This is a nice performance car, with a touch of sophistication. But I hope you like being close to the road.

Great Handling

We have had our G35 for over two years. Every time we drive a different car, we long for ours. The handling is excellent, the control is outstanding, the "get-up-and-go" is great. We're spoiled - we will probably get another G35 sports coupe when it's time for another car.

All Weather Vehicle

The Infiniti is the perfect all weather vehicle for those who want more class than a Subaru or more horsepower than a BMW 3series. All the class and features you could ever need. I bought mine brand spanking new off the showroom floor. After 2 1/2 years and 37k miles I'm still in love.

Love My Infiniti

I am very happy with my 2004 Infiniti G35X. It handles the road extremely well and has a nice sporty feel to it. My only disappointment is that its MPG is below what I thought it would be in city driving.
