G35

if you want a luxury sports coupe as a daily driver, this should definitely be one of your top choices, I drive the 6 speed manual transmission with Navi and Brembo brakes, I love the power this cars has. its enough room to fit two people of average size comfortably. If you're a tuner and you want a car that has power from the start without sacrificing style and overall appeal, a G35 is an excellent option.

So much fun to drive

I bought a 2004 coupe a few months back and have to say I love this car, I actually look forward to driving, even if its just for work. The steering, braking and acceleration are all very tight. I don't feel like I'm going to lose control, even when pushing the car at speed through curves, or stopping abruptly. I love how powerful the engine is, and the exhaust sound is amazing. This car really is a head turner, especially with tinted windows and a good clean. Some downsides, everything is really expensive to maintain or replace. But, it also hasn't broken on me in any serious way in four months. I also drove the 2005 bmw 330 when I was choosing a car, and between the two here are my thoughts. The bmw is more comfy inside, but I find the style of the g35 far superior, and as a luxury car it certainly isn't lacking. I found the 330 to have much smoother acceleration, but it felt to me at least like the g35 could accelerate and corner harder. In short, I put both cars in the same category, I would just say the 330 is for people who want something nice and reliable with power and style, the g35 is for people who want all that but also want to get their heart rate going.

Very Cool Car - 2004 Intinifti G35 Coupe

I bought one of these a couple months ago and can honestly say that I've been very very pleased, especially for the price I got it for. It's incredibly nice looking, especially with the spoiler. The power is pretty incredible (280 horsepower in this beast), and the engine noise is very satisfying. Interior design could be better (an analog clock? really), and gas mileage is pretty lousy (about 20 mpg), but what else can you expect from a sports car? It's a really nice blend of sportiness and luxury - the heated sears, mirrors, bose stereo, etc are very nice, but it doesn't give up performance. Headroom is ok, legroom is also good (I'm 6'5" and my head just brushes the ceiling). It's got a ton more space inside than a 350Z, and the trunk is even useful. The mirrors are very nice, I was originally miffed by the big blind spot out the left side, but then, with some adjustment of the drivers-side mirror, it completely went away. Overall, visibility is good. Totally worth the money if you can get it used :D

Best Car Out There

Great low maintenance car. Always fires up and is a real sporty and comfy car to own. If looking at a Infiniti G35 look at 2004 and up. 2003 model had a TON of issues.

Love the G

It's the fastest and the most thrilling car I've owned. The way the car handles while on the highway, while turning, is just spectacular.

Best bang for your buck

Car drives smooth, handling is excellent and extremely sexy. Can add a variety of aftermarket products to upgrade interior and exterior looks. Everywhere I go people ask me about the car.

Overall its thumbs up!

I had an '04 coupe that i bought used. It was only in the shop a couple times. And those problems were fairly common with this model (i.e. stereo replacement, brakes.) There were no surprises with this car. The reviews you see here are right on. I just wish the road noise was a less pronounced...that always bugged me. If it wasn't for the 18 mpg i'd get another one!

2004 G35 Coupe 6sp

Bought just over a week agao after trading in my 1991 Corvette. Although the G lacks the acceleration of the V8 it more than makes up for it in handling, comfort, ride, and all around performance. The shifting is slick and getting to 60 mph effortless. The only negative I have is the dash cluster. The speedometer is in 20 mph increments with 2 mph uniform hash marks between every 10 mph which makes requires looking closely at the speedometer when driving 55 and or 65 mph. Also I have a 3 mph to the plus side differnce in speedometer vs GPS speed.

Fast, price & comfort all in one

I've owned my G35x sedan since it was new. After 4 years and 40k miles I still love this car. Pro's: the V6 has tons of punch, the AWD helps you stick to the corners in rain or snow, the styling is timeless and sporty especially if you have the Aero package. The interior is comfortable and the seats have great bolsters for spirited driving. Con's: The brakes, or really the brake pads. Infinity installed super soft pads that provide great braking but sacrifice brake dust and longevity. I swapped out my OEM pads for some Hawk HPS pads and the problem is now fixed. Great value for the money, and I know because I've owned a Lexas IS250, and BMW 330xi. No major repairs in 4 years of ownership just oil changes and regular maint.
