2011 INFINITI G37 consumer reviews

Recently purchased a '11 G37X after trading in an '08 Lexus IS250 AWD. After test driving an Acura TL, Volvo S60 and BMW 335iX; for the money the G37X won hands down. The interior and leather quality are decent however Acura had a more impressive looking interior while Lexus employs some of the finest cowhide in the segment. With that said the G37X won me over with its performance. If you have never heard the exhaust note on a newer Infiniti; I recommend doing so. The exhaust note and acceleration are visceral. I can not intelligently comment on the reliability as this is only my second month of ownership. If you are looking for a vehicle that is nearly comparable in performance and handling to a 335I but more cost effective; look at the G37.

Love this car. Fast, easy to drive, no blind spots, I like the dashboard layout, very user friendly, like the bose system. You really feel like one with this car when you drive it, and given the competition in this segment, I think I make the right choice. The only negative is the premium gas, which is costly these days, but what do you expect with an engine like that.

I have been looking at an Infiniti G37 coupe since a used car salesman/friend suggested it for me. He had a couple for sale, but the resale is so high I decided on a new one instead. I've owned the car three months now, and can only say it is the quickest, best handling car I've ever driven. You'd have to go to supercar levels to get one with more performance, and even then, you would not get the 20 mpg I've been averaging. The car handles incredibly well, also. Some downsides are a very rigid ride with the Sport option and 19" wide-profile tires. The seats are not all that comfortable, but I am a big dude. Creature comforts and technology features inside the car are a real plus. I am leasing, and this might be the perfect vehicle for short term ownership. Resale value is very high, so you might get a great deal, and can buy the car cheaper than a used one at the end of the lease if you still like it for less than a used one!

I have the 2011 Limited Edition G37 Sedan. I've had it for a month and already have 2000 miles on it. The power is incredible, the acceleration smooth and the handling is exceptional. This car is a joy to drive. The Bose studio on wheels stereo sounds outstanding and the voice recognition Nav system works flawlessly. If I have one complaint, it would be the stiff ride, but I wanted the handling that comes with the sports package, so I will not complain!

Fantasic, comfortable, powerful, quick, fun! Everything you would want from a sport sedan. The only two things I have a problem with are not significant to most people but ...., check out the coffee holders(?????) in the front, they are a joke. The other and perhaps more significant probem I have with the line of cars are the color choices. I think they are putrid. If you like gray, you win, if not, you really, really loose. But if you want a totally outstanding vehicle, with great value for the money that is fun to drive, you can not beat this car. I love it!!!

I fell in love with my G37 at first glance. After test driving it two month later I just had to have it. Only had to wait two weeks for my favorite color to arrive, but it was worth the wait. I love the brilliant red.
