The 2013 Infiniti JX35 can be loaded with options. The one I purchased has all of them. The 360 degree camera is phenomenal for parking either in stalls or parallel. The adaptive cruise control works exactly like it should. The upgraded theater package is well worth it if you have kids in the backseat. The overall comfort and ride quality are the best I've experienced in an SUV. I've previously owned a QX56 and three Jeep Grand Cherokees. The JX drives more like a car. This vehicle doesn't feel nearly as top-heavy as other SUVs. Performance is lacking but is mitigated by improved mileage. I'm still getting used to the styling but it's wearing on me. The interior is well appointed and is very comfortable. The controls are within reach and are laid out well. This is my third overall Infiniti and I find it to have some of the best value for the money. The reliability is yet to be tested on this fairly new car but my experience with Infiniti's has been flawless thus far.

I recently purchased a JX 35 (Black interior/exterior). It is truly a great car. Drove the X5-nice but too small. Q7-too expensive. Acura MDX- lots of acceleration but not as refined as JX 35. Mercedes-nice but expensive for options. JX 35 is beautiful inside and rides fantastic. As far as exciting to drive, etc., I read all those comments and just don't see it in my day to day driving in sport mode. I don't drive the car on race tracks and it has more than enough power for day to day driving. Don't let any of the comments about CVT or power scare you. The car is great...go drive it. Liked it better than any of the options above. Great value for money spent and a luxury ride.

Traded my 2007 Lexus GX 470 for the JX35 and I can't be any happier. I loved my GX, but the JX is much easier to drive and more comfortable (due to it being a crossover). My kids love the reclyning seats and room in the 2nd and 3rd rows. We looked at the Q7 and MDX, but the JX has all the new features and technology....360 degree camera. Infiniti was right on with this vehicle! :)

I've had my JX now for 3 years, 48K miles. There is nothing I have asked this car to do that it hasn't been able to handle. I did get all the upgrades and don't regret it. Regular service performed at the dealership including the all the recalls - but I never experienced any symptoms related to the recalls. The car is smooth and rides very quiet. It is especially good in the rain, hugging the road tightly. OK in the snow. Very few problems. Brake pedal has a little more travel than I was used to in my Lexus, but no real problem. This is a 7 seater, heavy vehicle - it is not a sports car. That said, don't believe those that say the car is under powered or can't accelerate into traffic. That is bunk. The car is plenty powerful enough for a people movers - and is fun to drive if you want to switch to sport mode or manually shift it yourself. In fact, I LIKE the CVT transmission as it is smooth as silk and makes the car feel more luxurious than the jerking transmission in other vehicles. The best feature is the adaptive cruise control. I'll never get another vehicle without it. Mileage in mixed driving is around 20. On the highway, you can realistically get 24-25 on long trips without an issue (premium fuel). GPS screen switches to camera mode when parking, making it a snap to park the large vehicle. Still good life left on tires after 48K miles. With third row of seats down (which is most of time) you can still carry lots of cargo. Servicing the vehicles costs FAR less than what it took to keep the Lex maintained at the dealership. Only issue I had with car is the front camera came slightly out of alignment which caused some funky behavior of the collision avoidance system, causing seat belt to tension. Dealer fixed first try. Loaded, tax and tags, this car on the road was around 58K new. This one is a keeper.

I have had my JX 35 since May. Driven it out of town and was simply amazed at how well it handled. Very comfortable and great on fuel. I traded in an Expedition. I purchased the Diamond Slate color, couldn't wait for the dealer to order the Emerald Graphite and didn't want to take a chance on the color. I have received numerous compliments everywhere I go. My granddaughter loves the DVD player and it is so easy to use. My husband and I are both tall. He is 6'2" and there is plently of leg room for him whether he is driving or a passenger. this was a good purchase. I had not even considered this vehicle initially. After reviewing vehicles online I decided to test drive. It far surpasses the Acura, Cadillac, Lincoln and Lexus counterparts. Plenty of power, not sluggush at all.

Best Ride For Long Trips

We just finished a cross country trip putting 8250 miles on the JX. Our vehicle is fully loaded and we are so glad we purchased all the options. The car was incredibly comfortable on our journey. The safety features were really appreciated during driving conditions that included heavy traffic, horrible winds, driving rain and occasional snow. The lane departure intervention and blind spot monitoring were absolutely essential during the worst weather conditions with large trucks blowing past us and obliterating our windshield with their rooster tails. The Infiniti Personal Assistant was used dozens of times to download new routes, find fuel, food and motels, and they could provide accurate weather and road conditions knowing exactly where we were at all times. We have a full size Yakima cargo box, which was fully loaded (along with the car...all seats down and loaded with luggage). During strong head winds and grades our worst milage was 18 but overall, we were getting between 20 and 24 which is fantastic for such a large vehicle. I felt that we had more than enough power and never had a problem on hills. I used the manual shift modes frequently which helped with ascending and descending hills. Most of all, the seats were incredibly comfortable on those 8 to 14 hour days. I know some people complain about the performance vs. other Infiniti models, but this is a touring vehicle and it handles very well on all road surfaces. Slight body roll in sharper turns, but nothing you wouldn't expect in a large vehicle. If you plan on long trips, I highly recommend this vehicle.

We just leased the JX with the premium package and really enjoy the great deal we received from Crest Infiniti (ask for Jon Bellamy). The car is stable at high speeds and quiet. We traded our fully loaded Odyssey Touring, outside of reduced cargo space we don't envision going back to another mini van. I will post another update after 90 days to see if my views change. Great car if you are considering the new Pathfinder this is a better option for a lease do the much higher residual value, your payments should only differ by $25 - $40 a month. The Infiniti Connect is also an added plus.

We have had the 2013 Infiniti JX for six months and couldn't be happier. The ride and comfort is second to none. Fuel economy is unreal for a vehicle of this size, we get 22 in the city and have gotten as high as 28 on the highway. The power is sufficient for the JX and the transmission does a fine job. We had an FX before and it obviously is more sport oriented but the JX has no problems accelerating or merging in with traffic. If you want big power or lots of speed get a diesel or a Corvette not the JX. I love the noise cancellation that is emitted to counteract the road noise, I have never been in a vehicle this quiet. The second and third row seating will accommodate me easily and I am over six feet tall, I was amazed during the test drive when the salesman who is six foot five inches got in the back! Don't think for a second this vehicle is cumbersome and won't handle, I have pushed this thing to the limits and can say it will perform in the corners better than most SUVs as well as most cars. Infiniti quality is beyond anything else! Look underneath the JX and when you see the polished billet aluminum used for the bumpers and suspension components as well as the engineering in the braking system you will think you are looking at a custom street rod! The motor mounts are fluid filled to reduce any small vibrations and you can take a wine glass set it on the engine and rev it to the moon and not even move the glass! This is one top notch vehicle that has too many good things to note.

Just purchased the new Infiniti JX35 and I love it. Compared to the other vehicles in this class this one, well is just in a class of it's own. The technology features are wonderful, the ergonomics are great, it looks much cooler than the boxy offerings from the other companies and the interior is very luxurious. Can't say anything bad about it. I just hope that the reliability is as good as I expect.
