Attractive styling but unreliable
We previously owned a Chev. Trailblazer but wanted better fuel mileage. The Jeep seemed to be a nice compromise. It rides smoothly, is comfortable and attractive. I have 40,000 miles on it and it is currently in the shop for the 5th time for transmission work! I tried to trade it in on another vehicle but of course the "market value" had made such a swing we would loose several thousand dollars. I wouldn't recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Smooth ride
This car is very updated. It?s a smooth drive and has most of the things new new cars have. I was test driving the car because I wanted to purchase one and now I love it even more driving it.

Not designed to go off road
Trailhawk: I have had to replace too many parts, under warranty. One trip from Crown King to Lake Pleasant three tires, a wheel, and a steering tie rod were destroyed. Never use Firestone tires off road. I have All-Terrain T/As now. They are much better. The transmission is rated as 9 speed. It has never been in 9th gear. It is rated to pull 4500 lbs. It can barely pull itself.

Never again
I used to love this car and everyone else told me they had problems. At 65000 it just started randomly shutting off. Dealer said nothing wrong. 2 out of 3 Jeeps I had problems with

Tons of Features packed into one car
Basically every feature you could want in a car is in the Trailhawk version of the Cherokee. Keyless entry and start, bluetooth, and digital speedometer make day-to-day use so simple. The turning radius is the best I have seen in a SUV of this size. Would highly recommend getting the panoramic sunroof. It opens up the cabin of the car significantly.
