I WISH I HAD NEVER BOUGHT!!!!
The engine grinds and screeches, the transmission knocks and there is a weird clicking noise coming from behind the dashboard...contacted Chrysler for a factory rep to check out the car, waited over a month for them to tell me that "it's normal" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?

Write most reliable car I own
The jeep cherokee v6 awd is a pretty solid car. Specifically the trail hawk edition. Comparing it to the Limited is night and day. The trailhawk despite being a little stiffer when going very slow take bumps and any potholes like a champ. It handles very well for an suv of its size. The limited is a luxury version of the jeep minus the upgraded suspension and different wheel/tire setup. The trailhawk cherokee is what a jeep should be

Best in its class
looked at every smaller SUV made and this has to be by far the best. Economy has shifted to fuel economy leaving little options available but seems the competition is charging for lower performance. I got the. V6 4x4 latitude and its outstanding and yet holds slightly lower fuel economy but with performance.also the interior is not the cheap government plastic and has style, added options on other manufaures are standard with Jeep keeping the price down.I looked at a manufacture that wanted a heavy price tag with a v6 awd navi with rebates 5k more.Jeep with more features and better rebates I saved a ton.Best purchase ever!!!

Really love the Jeep so far
Have owned it for 2 weeks now, and I love it. Great performance, decent gas mileage, luxurious interior. Nav and electronics are very advanced. Can't wait for the snow!

Exciting new Jeep Model
My new Jeep Cherokee is 6th or 7th in the continuous series of Jeeps I have owned. I traded a middle of the price range Grand Cherokee for the top of the line Cherokee, and I think I got a bargain. This new version of the Cherokee is beautifully designed, not at all trucky in the way it drives and rides, and the Limited I bought is so well equipped: power seats, windows, locks; remote ignition, automatic lights and rain-sensing windshield wipers; hands-free phone, etc. And it gets better gas mileage than any of its predecessors.

Perfect SUV for me
I have owned my V6 Trail Hawk for over 7000 miles. My wife says that this Cherokee is smoother and quieter than her Jaguar. The chairs are quite comfortable even on long drives. On a drive from Phoenix to Palm Desert at 80 MPH the car got 23 MPG. On the return trip at 70 MPH the car got 26 MPG. The around town average is 22 MPG. However the transmission never used 9th gear. Off road the Cherokee is quite capable. I successfully drove the trail from Crown King, AZ to Lake Pleasant, AZ. This trail is generally recommended for ATVs and Wranglers. The skid plates were scraped four times while on the trail. With two diagonal wheels in the air I got out to take photographs and had no trouble opening and closing the doors. The body is very stiff. The factory Firestone tires are marginal. They have 5 tread plies and 3 sidewall plies. There is already some sidewall damage on these tires. I am pleased that the Cherokee carries a full size spare tire. If you buy a new Trail Hawk get good tires The automatic transmission is quiet and smooth. In the city it quickly moves through the gears to 5th or 6th gear. However, I have never seen the transmission shift into 9th gear. Okay 8 gears is still pretty good. I wish that the display would show the current gear. To avoid a collision, I had to do a sudden lane change on the freeway. The Trail Hawk was quick and responsive and did exactly what needed to be done. The GPS works well and even shows and gives directions for minor trails. Grrrr! the display keyboard is disabled while the vehicle is moving so my wife cannot program a destination while we are underway. The list of preprogrammed destinations is pretty limited. The Trail Hawk has met all of my expectations. I am a satisfied owner.

Great SUV!
Great vehicle for the money. With a 4 cylinder this vehicle is a little sluggish off the line. The tires on the Cherokee Lattitue were "loud", so had to replace them with a "quieter" set. I can still hear them without having my radio on. I think a design change would help. I have never had a car that you can hear the tires. Otherwise, this is a great vehicle. Feels like I'm sitting in a cockpit. I love the lumbar support in the seat. Got a pretty much fully loaded model, and love everything on it. The exterior is really neat looking.

First Time Jeep Buyer
So this is my first Jeep. I selected this over other small SUV's for the following: 1. Wife had to be able to see over the hood (she is 5 feet tall) 2. Great gas mileage. (I just got over 31 mpg going from Atlanta to Orlando and I bought the V6). 3. Quiet (previous owner of 3 Mercedes cars) 4. Nice Ride ? I currently own a Chevy Avalanche, which rides great on the long heavy platform. 5. Great Technology. I am very satisfied with my vehicle. This vehicle has more room on the inside than it appears, and my wife loves to drive this! My only recommendation would be for Jeep to upgrade the tires. I?m a big Michelin fan on how quiet and soft their tires ride ? made a world a difference on my Avalanche. The standard ?Continentals? are the same that are on my C ?class Mercedes and feel and hear the road a little more ? but I?m being very picky here.

So far so good
I'll get the complaint out of the way first. The dealer pushed a 'nitrofill' thing for the tires. Fine, I get it, but they overfilled my tires by 14 psi. Seriously, if it wasn't for the tire pressure monitoring I wouldn't have known. Not Jeep's fault, but messed up. Love it so far. I have the 2014 Trailhawk with everything except the lane departure/parking electronic do-dads. V-6 has plenty of power. Tranny seems to be getting smarter - it was a little rough shifting at first. Especially from 1-2 or 2-3. The A pillar is a bit large - so that takes getting used to as far as looking for traffic or turning left. I wish the steering was a little bit more weighted on initial turn-in. Throttle is also a little sensitive and takes some getting used to. The uConnect is awesome. Easily the best I've ever used. Blows the VW system I had in the GTI away. Huge screen and the backup camera is great. My as purchased price was high, so not so sure about value, but the interior fit and finish is top notch. My mom has a 2012 BMW X5 and the interior is just about as good. It has tons of room; fits my road bike in the back with the seats down without a problem. If you actually go off road from time to time there is no other choice on the market that comes close. What are you going to get, and Escape? My grandpa drives an Escape! Hope the initial quality translates to long term quality; know this is not Jeep's strong point but hoping better with the new big cheese in charge. They seem to be getting better.

Daughter loves this vehicle
We just bought our Jeep Cherokee limited V6 for our daughter's graduation! We love it and it's a sporty looking SUV. Drives great and we feel comfortable that she's safe in it. Love the roomy back seat plus all the bells and whistles. Would definitely recommend it to everybody!
