Most reliable car I ever owned

Wasn’t the car I was looking for at first. But after I test drove it I feel in love with it. And it was in my price range.

Very reliable

Owned this car for half a year now, had 31000 when purchased, 2nd owner. Now has 36000 miles. Only thing wrong was drivers side rear door paint bubble but fully repaired by car dealer purchased from. Have the 3.2l six. Super smooth Mercedes like! Great in the snow!!! I have also a 2002 keep grand Cherokee with the 4.0 straight six with 256000 miles still running strong! Keeps are incredible! Highly recommend these vehicles!!

Worst vehicle ever owned. Even worst than the 2014

Vehicle is totally unreliable. Wont start has Powertrain defect widely know by engineers since 2014 as I was lead to believe. 2017 same problems. If you need your vehicle to drive steer clear of this one

Only 2 months and issues already

I purchased a Jeep Cherokee about 2 months ago. I called scheduled service because there was a weird sound coming from the muffler and there was also a random burning smell coming through the vents. I took the truck in as scheduled but was refused service because it was Sunday and the service guy didn’t have time, he said. He told me that the noise was common with the Jeep and if there was no lights there was no issue. 2 months in the truck is stalling and I am wondering if it was something that they knew about and refused to address.

Reliable.

Reliable. Great color. Love the way it looks. I purchased it for the great reviews. I had to order it since the color I wanted wasn’t available.

Our New-to-us car!

We've been absolutely loving it thus far. The camera is pretty awesome when it comes to backing into parking spots and such. The only complaint we even would have is that the gas panel release is inside the car door (we have to get used to that) and sometimes the button doesn't like working but it's on the passenger side of the car so you have to go around to find that out. It always works on the second try though.

So far it's been great

It looks like it might be small from the outside but the interior is very roomy with a lot of legroom.. Loaded with heated/cooled leather. I love the remote start. Sound system is nice as well.

Service Issue with Jeep

"Service shifter" warning light started coming on on the driver display this summer, accompanied with a warning chime. At first intermittently, now it is on pretty much full time after moving into gear. I am unable to use 4WD, see electronic speedometer, gas consumption gauges or other information on vehicle due to the error message. Took to Jeep dealer on 7/16, they informed me the bezel on the shifter needed replacement, and the part would be in the following week. I had them keep the car for the following week. The following week they notified me it was possible the part wouldn't be available until the end of the July, but that the vehicle was still under warranty so it wouldn't cost me anything. I have since followed up in August and again on 9/29 (almost 3 months since first appointment), and the parts department contact told me that of the two parts needed for the repair, one was placed on "increased backorder status" from Jeep, meaning that the dealerships were "blocked" from ordering it or it even being sent out to the dealership. They are now unaware of when the part might become available again. This issue is widespread on Jeep forums and NHTSA web site, needs to be recalled. I wouldn't buy one, and I cant sell mine with a service issue that cannot be fixed. Jeep hasn't addressed it to consumers or dealers.
