2017 Jeep Cherokee consumer reviews

I purchased a used 2017 Cherokee Overland 4WD and I could not be happier! The value for the money can’t be matched. I love it!

My 2017 Jeep Cherokee has been in the dealership service department since the second month I owned it. Coolant leak, transmission problems, alternator failure, etc. I'm on my third battery because the alternator is still faulty. The vehicle has 34,000 miles on it. It will completely shut off going 55 down the highway, the wheels lock up and steering no longer works. This is the most dangerous car I've ever owned. I would not recommend it to anyone else!

I love it! I wanted a vehicle a little bigger so when our kids come home we can go somewhere together in one car. My husband reminded me 95% of my life I will be by myself and really didn’t need a bigger car for this reason. He was right. Our family was six and already has grown to 9! We are very happy and when I have had friends come they love all that came with this car and say this is the perfect size. I feel so spoiled and know when that day comes again I will be back. This car has been a very reliable car with all the hook ups in a car you want. I was t-boned on the driver side in this vehicle by a car running a red light going 35+ MPH. This caused the curtain all the side airbags to deploy keeping me from getting serious injury. All I walked away from was with a couple bumps and bruises. Overall I am very happy with how well it protected me and allowed me to stick around for my family.

Love all the features this vehicle has to offer! Vehicle drives amazing and runs awesome! The vehicle for value is great and it’s a reliable vehicle!

I would recommend this SUV to anyone. It is my second Jeep Cherokee and fits all my needs. It handles well in the snow, ice and other unfavorable conditions. It has all the interior features I love; heated seats, steering wheels, Bluetooth, back up camera and remote start. It not only gets me where I need to go but it makes it an enjoyable ride

The Limited I have miss some of the bells and whistles found in foreign cars like turning lights on mirrors, CD player. When trying to make a u turn, you hear a hard lock in the front wheel base. There is something wrong with its design. Also, front rotors were very abrasive producing an incredible amount of vibration when braking from speeding speed into a halt. I liked the remote ignition. The back up camera is good but has no noise to alert you when you get close to some structure or object. Can use a blind spot small tilt mirror that you find built in with some other car brands.

Engine needed to be replaced due to an oil consumption problem. 9 weeks later engine light goes on, car is overheating, service said nothing wrong.

Off-road capability and towing are best I have ever owned. Has a great look and stance. Very comfortable good gas mileage for a powerful V6.

I am very glad I selected the Cherokee and look forward to continued years of carefree driving. Keep up the good design. The fuel efficiency is very helpful.
