2019 Jeep Cherokee consumer reviews

The JEEP Cherokee Latitude Plus will satisfy my needs for a 4 wheel drive vehicle, but today's cars by ALL the manufacturers are being built to DUMB DOWN the already dimwitted ones behind the wheel. There are several features that the manufacturers insist we have to have that I certainly can do without. I despise the auto-roll down windows, the auto door locks @ 15 mph, the auto braking system in reverse, and ESPECIALLY the start-stop engine feature that shuts down the engine at stop lights. Fortunately, a few of these things can be disabled, but the engine start-stop resets every damned time the engine is started with the start ignition button. But get this, on older Chrysler products the owner could disable the auto-lock feature himself. However, now the DEALER has to enter into the computer to disable it. When I asked the service department to do it for me, they were totally unaware as to disable it BECAUSE no one EVER asked them to do it. It's probably impossible to totally avoid owning a new vehicle with most of these "MODERN" features and devises. But I for one don't need half of them. Well, you guessed it. I'm an "old curmudgeon", but frankly I like it that way! Enjoy your new JEEP.

Car rides and drives excellent. Getting good gas mileage. Has a lot of very useful features for the price we payed. Love the car very much.

Terrible. Owned it for a year and couldn’t wait to get rid of it. Dealt with corporate a lot over reliability issues. Wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Has plenty of room for passengers and cargo. Enjoy the power of the 6 cylinder engine. Exterior and interior styling is exceptional. Features on the vehicle are easy to use and understand.

This Jeep is very comfortable with great visibility. I love all the features especially the surround sound and the leg room. It is easy To operate. I love the granite crystal color.

This is my First Jeep. I’ve owned nearly one of everything I think. Except a BMW and Tesla. I’m not going there at any price. The Cherokee rides nice, good view from the drivers seat. It’s a solid feeling car that is smooth with good features. I have the 2.4L. Averaging 26-27 mpg. That’s good for me since it’s a all wheel drive. I actually like the 9 speed. I had a Chrysler 200S and it was my favorite thing about that car. I don’t experience the issues the reviews complain about. It performs well to me. I love the double tap break and tranny downshifting going down hills. The motor helps breaking and saves the break pads. Like a manual in that way. I’ve never had a Automatic that can do that and it’s something I really like. The 2.4 isn’t gonna win any races but I’m not a racer. It gets me in where I need to be.

Love my Jeep. It handles great and provides a smooth and quiet ride. So far I've been impressed with the mileage I'm getting in town.

Have only owned for 5 days but so far so good!! I’m still trying to get all the tech stuff figured out but it’s a very nice ride!

The kids and I love our 2019 Jeep Cherokee!! Not only is she a beauty. She rides smooth and fits our family of 4 perfectly!! All the extras they've added to the Cherokee are great and make traveling easy and fun!!
