I have been okay with my vehicle.

The first one I was given had difficulties the first day I got it. When they offered me the second one I was not sure about it. For the most part it is okay, but there are some things that I have learned about it that I am not happy about.

This is my first Jeep and I absolutely love it!

As the title implies, this is my first ever Jeep product (and first brand new car) To give you guys the rundown, I drive 30 miles one way to work, doing that 6 days a week. I'm driving up and over a mountain on the way to work so I needed something comfortable, equipped with AWD or 4x4 and good on gas mileage. I chose the 2019 Cherokee Latitude Plus 4x4 with the Altitude package. My Cherokee came with the 2.4L 4-cylinder with 9 speed auto transmission. I'll first start off with the styling- this thing is beautiful all around. The Altitude packages gives me all the nice glossy black wheels, emblems , roof rails and windows. Very clean and sleek. The interior is amazing, very well put together and packed with a ton of features. I love the uconnect screen and all the apps. Very very easy to use. For me, the interior is big and spacious. My vehicle does not come equipped with a sunroof, so at 6ft in height, I have 3 inches or so of head room. Sitting in the back is rather comfortable and I know I'll be able to haul around my little nieces or nephews no problem. For the engine and transmission, I'm pleased with the non turbo 4 cylinder engine. It's got some pep to it and it gets up to speed nicely. Half of my commute is highway and I have no issues doing 75-80 mph to pass a car if I need. Around town this is really fun and enjoyable to drive. I was apprehensive about the 9 speed but I've had no issues and it seems like they have worked out most if not all of the kinks. As for people saying they don't like the auto-shut off feature at stop lights, I'm not sure what all the hate is about. You can select a button on the dash to disable that feature. When I'm in stop and go traffic, I turn that feature off. For all other driving, I barely even notice it. All in all, I love this car, and for the budget I had, buying this Cherokee was the best decision I've ever made.

2019 Cherokee trail hawk owner

So far it?s a great vehicle. Only thing that bothers me is the auto stop feature. You can turn it off but has to be done every time the suv restarts. Comfortable with all the luxuries You expect in 40k vehicles. Fun to drive. Fuel is so-so.

Nice Ride

Test drove a Cherokee vs. a Compass (both are Jeeps). The ride on the Cherokee is far superior overall for comfort. I am enjoying it immensely, however I have 2 small issues to note. The position of the head rest feels too far forward - I would like to remove it, or bend it further back. I do not see any way to adjust it fore and aft. There is a feature that shuts off the engine when you stop at a red light / stop sign. This runs the vehicle off of the battery, and then starts it up again when the vehicle moves. I do not like this feature. There is a button to shut this feature off, but everytime you start up the vehicle again, the default of this feature is on. Another thing to note that did not affect me, but a bigger and taller person might find the "B pillar" to be in a slightly uncomfortable spot with the seat fully back. Overall - like the power, like the comfort, can't wait to take it on a longer highway ride (so far, been about 1 hour max in the vehicle at a time).

Chic, stylish and downright comfortable Cherokee with excellent features, great performance and the perfect size for what I need. Going from a patriot, it?s night and day and for the better.
