Reliable when it comes to engine/transmission

This car was good enough to get me across the country. Never worried about it breaking down. Has small issues but nothing that would keep me from buying it again.

Call her Miss Toughy

2nd best used car I ever bought. Still have first one too. This one looks like keeper too. I hope when I need another dealer still there.

Worst car I've ever owned

Comfortable ride and aesthetically pleasing interior. Otherwise, completely unreliable and a total money pit. My car has been down for repairs for a month total it odd the 6 months I've owned it. The entire engine now needs replaced.

Great SUV

This jeep met my needs I wanted something that I could drive in any weather condition and made decent gas mileage and couldnt complain. I treared it well regularly changed the oil and never had any major issues. There was a recall with the ignition, and I'm 6'4" 225 it was a little tight inside but I never even realized until I bought my newest car and had like a 30 way adjustable seat I can literally place on the floor. Overall it was a great jeep and I'm gunna miss it.

Car has the worst mpg of any vehicle I've ever had

This car has poor mpg and the cab noise is almost unbearable. The ride is rough and noisy. The cost of the vehicle is outrageous.

Tied for the best vehicle I've ever owned

These Grand Cherokees are the best vehicles along with the Chevy Suburban. Performance, Safety, Reliability, Styling, Features, it has it all. If you need a lot of room, the Suburbans are the best. If you don't need all that room, Grand Cherokees are the best. I've had several of both.

Will not let it go, even after a Newer vehicle.

I absolutely love it! Interior and exterior styling till holds up after 10 years. Many people think it is newer then year model 2008. My trim is the Overland Edition with a 3.0 diesel v6. ABSOLUTELY love the motor! It?s very reliable and more then enough power as a daily driver and a hauler. The motor is a little loud at a standstill if that?s not your thing, but Zero noise when traveling faster then 15mph even with the windows down. My only two complaints are uncomfortable amount of space for passengers in the back seat if they are not children. Also, the Overland comes with some fancy features that don?t work as well as intended and (to me) are just extra stuff that is costly to fix and isnt beneficial enough to warrant their added cost. Namely the automatic rain sensing windshield and automatic ?oncoming headlight sensors? that switch the high beams on and off while driving. My own headlight reflection fools it repeatedly in any driving conditions other then completely unlit side and back roads. It is more convenient to me to turn that feature off. Overall I give this Jeep a 5 star. Looks great, drives great, reliable, and I absolutely love it!
