Nice but iffy quality

The good at 65,000 miles: Styling Just right midsize SUV for my needs Real truck capabilities, towing, etc Very nicely appointed interior Lots of features for the money, good value Comfortable, quiet ride and decent handling Good performance and capability with the hemi Not so good: Several recalls Common quality problems for this model year that I've experienced: HVAC system "blend door" failure causing AC to operate intermittently. Twice. Engine multi placement oil valve failure. Well known warranty issue. Water pump failures at around 50,000 miles. Common for the hemi. AC coolant leak. Not common Few other minor electrical issues. Bottom line: Love the looks, size and performance the vehicle but it's had its share of nagging quality issues. Will recommend but know that it requires more attention than most other products.

Reliable SUV

A very roomy SUV which meets the needs of both work and play. The vehicle drives very smoothly yet can be used for off road purposes.

Awesome vehicle!

This SUV is by far the nicest I've owned. The Limited package has all the bells and whistles and the motor is a beast!

Most reliable car I've owned!

I've driven Chrysler, Nissan, Chevrolet and Ford. Keep has been the best purchase so far! All the bells and whistlea but miss having the 3rd row seating... my only complaint.

Love it!

I upgraded from a large sedan to this a few years back and I'm absolutely in love with it. I've named my Grand Cherokee Laredo and she is beautiful, inside and out. She drives and handles well, is good on gas mileage and is great during our harsh winters with automatic 4WD. I love the way the seats go down to allow flat sleeping or storage and the back has great space. I'm at 120,000 miles and the maintenance has been minimal. So reliable! One reason I selected this vehicle is because I have a family and wanted more room. The one thing I'm disappointed in is that it is uncomfortable to put a car seat in the back seat. We've tried all three positions (left, middle and right rear seat), and it is a tight fit in the entire vehicle. The front seats have to be forward and when it is behind my tall husband, he is miserable. I sit upright with great posture when it is behind me (I'm a 5'6" female). When we put it in the middle, both can recline a little but the baby mirror that goes on the back of the seat covers up the back window visibility. We may need to upgrade again to accommodate another car seat if we have another child. It was a 5 star rating for us until we put a car seat in it.

Solid and Reliable

I bought my Grand Cherokee because I'm 6'6" and very few vehicles offer enough headroom for me to sit comfortably. After three years of ownership, I've had no issues and felt comfortable with every drive.

Very Reliable SUV

My jeep has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. I bought it brand new in 2011 and I have never had a problem with it. There is plenty of room in the back seat and a lot of storage space in the back. I love how the seats in the back can recline a little and also lay flat if needed for a large item to fit in your vehicle. I do not recommend this vehicle if you plan to have 3 young children like me. It is hard to fit three car seats in the back. However it will work.
