Most bang for the buck.

Ther are many cars to choose from that equal or surpass the Grand Cherokee in some areas, but, when you factor in the serious 4 wheel drive capabilities and the Hemi performance and towing capabilities it wins hands down.

Love my Jeep Grand Cherokee!

It's hard to rate reliability when I've only had it a couple of months. Ask me in 3-5 years. :) Other than not having the best gas mileage (but not the worst either) this truck is perfect. Drives so nicely, the cabin stays very quiet, the style is beautiful and not cheaply designed at all. I really love this truck and am very impressed with this body style. There are a lot of little features all over that make me love it more and more as I discover them. The navigation is great too. The only thing I would change, is if you have a passenger in the car it should allow them to enter info into the navi. It's annoying when my husband tries to enter something while I am driving and it locks him out because we are in motion.

Incredible Car

Great Car. Got the 70th Anniversary Edition fully loaded. Incredible inside and out. Great car. One issue was with to Tire Pressure sensor not working but the dealership fixed that immediatly, free of charge! No complaints whatsoever. Very comfortable ride and has great power. I really love the embossed leather seats with the Jeep logo.

Best interior features for the price.

I car shopped for a long time and price wasn't the only thing that mattered and the jeep had more luxury features for the money! I am happy with my purchase! :)

Most Awesome Car I've Owned

This is the first new car I've ever owned and I absolutely love my Jeep. I could not be more pleased. The vehicle is more on par with a luxury SUV but priced as a more economical one. Premium leather seats are wonderful. Quality far exceeds that of similarly priced SUVs. My favorite feature is the controls behind the steering wheel that allow for the radio station and input to be changed. It is a feature that I really enjoy and I believe it is unique to the Jeep. If you get the V-8, you will notice. It is very powerful and lots of fun. Highly recommend.

Exceeding expectations thus far

After several months of research, I found a demo Overland in my area which saved me quite a bit of money off the sticker. My wife drives the Jeep GC on a regular basis and loves it. I drive it occasionally during the week and on road trips and I wish I had a second one for me to drive daily. The style and brand is a matter of preference. I like the new GC style. My mother had a reliable GC when I was growing up and I had a Jeep Wrangler for my first car. I think the interior is sharp. I wanted a little more focus on MPG so we went with the V6 but I have been impressed so far with the power. The mileage is good - not great - but a significant improvement for us as regular SUV drivers. We previously went down the road of a certified pre owned BMW X5 and really liked it except the maintenance cost ultimately got out of control. I think we got a lemon. Our BMW 3 series had expensive maintenance but it lasted longer and didn't have near the trouble as our X5. The warranty helped for a while but it was annoying driving to the dealership and it still had problems after the warranty expired so we got rid of it. I went from a BMW for life person to someone that might not buy another one. My wife wanted to closest thing in size and feel to the X5 and the Jeep GC was it for her. Easy in and out for the kids. Easy in and out of the garage, which was tight for a larger car.

Jeep

I purchased a 2011 Grand Cherokee because I could not find an Explorer. I am so pleased with the Jeep in all catagories, including 4x4 on North Carolina beaches. For what I got Ford wanted $5000 more. Best value for my money. I now have 10000 miles on it and no problems at all,not even a squeek.Just test drive one before you buy a foreign make and you will buy one. I hope this was helpful.

Smoooth 4x4

I have owned or driven many 4x4s and found the new Grand Cherokee to be the best riding of the bunch. I bought the Overland trim and think it is just gorgeous with plenty of room for all and enough trinkets for fun. The Hemi powerplant is great but not the gas mileage ( I do have a heavy right foot ). Now with only 2100 miles in six months I can only hope its reliablity still impresses me down the road.
