Great all around SUV

This is the second Grand Cherokee I have owned. Great balance of size, comfort, performance and style. Love the 5.7 Hemi although it is a bit thirsty.

Needs work

5 days after buying it needed the engine head replaced! The car is in the service center part is on back order and no ETA on the availability of the part let alone wheni will get it back. I guess if this wasnt a problem I would like my vehicle.

A great car under all conditions

we use this to tow our trailer in the summer. If we are stuck in Illinois we love the safety in snow. It has air height adjustment so easy to get in and out of. When towing it pulls without effort and the 4 wheel drive and clearance allows us to camp in places others can't get to. Mud, snow, rain or rocky roads and we keep going.

Great power, more responsibility

I owned a 2014 Jeep SRT. Easily the most fun car/suv I’ve ever driven. The rest of the experience was the WORST of any vehicle I ever owned. Jeep dealer treated it like another cherokee, but these require all sorts of super expensive performance parts. $2000 brakes, $1000 exhaust maintenance, and a laundry list of electrical and interior issues. The American SRT was more like owning a BMW , and the repair bills backed this up. I wouldn’t recommend unless buying BRAND NEW with dealer warranty, and even then get ready to be in the shop often.

bought as a used certified jeep grand cherokee ltd

bought this vehicle used certified from dealer , was primarily bought as a second vehicle . was pleasantly surprised with the performance , handling , ride comfort . the gas economy was 18.5 mpg local driving , which I have no complaints about . has all the bells and whistles too , heated seats , climate control , gps , power everything , including lift gate . so cushy to drive , full sound stereo , cd player , quite an upgrade from 1998 4.0 jeep Cherokee . overall , I love the ride , interior appointments , fuel economy should get better on longer trips . now to keep the wife out of it , lol ! a solid performer , I am pleased with this vehicle in the short time I have owned it . been a fan of jeeps , this would be my 6th jeep . all have been good reliable vehicles , wonderful in snow , off road when required , as well as , a night out on the town .

Worst vehicle I've ever owned

Broke down on me from day one. In 4 years it misfired 7 times. Spark plugs had to be replaced once a year, ignition coils once a year, intake had to be replaced, PCM replaced twice, rocker arms went bad. Cost me thousands. Broke down and left me stranded every few months. So many little things and major things went wrong and every time it was "common in jeeps". The oil filter housing is plastic, which is a complete design flaw, was an $800 fix. For what I paid in this Jeep I found have owed 2 Mercedes. Save your money

It is has the best miles per gallon vehicle I’ve .

I love the styling of the interior and exterior. Also the great fuel economy it provides. The torque it provides for towing. It is overall the best vehicle I have ever owned.
