Wanted A Jeep

I loved how smooth it drove and the room inside. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats and my family I think about if I needed to evacuate since living in Louisiana. It was roomy enough. I am a short person so being able to be in an SUV and able to see over the hood was a plus.

Beautiful family vehicle

Only thing it?s missing is third row seats, the kids love it and it?s definitely comfy for commuting for sports. My favorite vehicle by far yet I?ve purchased.

Great family car that can play in on the weekend

Impressive vehicle so far. The space is well used with a combination of interior space large enough for myself at 6'1" and my child seats in the rear. Cargo space has been a big bonus for hauling items from the big box stores as well as my real estate signs and my children's sporting goods. The Jeep handles well off road in light duty trails and gravel road. It has snappy take off power and excellent power in overtaking vehicles on the highway. Handling in the corners is decent with minimal oversteer for an SUV. Gas mileage has been a big plus for me coming from the Dodge Ram 1500. I've consistently been recording close to 500 miles to a tank with the V6 engine and the stop start function is a gas saver and works seemlessly. Navigation and touch screen radio are well designed and user friendly. Other systems I've used seem slow and antiquated compared to the system in the Jeep. It responds to voice activation with out many misunderstood commands making it a pleasant experience instead of causing frustration. The leather seats are stylish and comfortable. I'm a bigger guy so the lower bolstered seats of the limited edition have been a good fit for me. The interior console space seems a bit small coming from a full sized pick-up truck however it is manageable once you get everything situated. The fit and finish is on par with other manufacturer offerings. The body lines are classic to the brand with fairly tight tolerances on the panel fitments. There is dual USB and 12v ports as well as a 120v plug in the cockpit for charging. Towing capacity is impressive at 7200 lbs although I don't think I'd push that boundry with this vehicle. It will easily handle a yard trailer, medium boat, or tow the motorcycles. The limited seemed to be the "bang for the buck" package meeting many of my needs for a midline price in the SUV segment.

Great buy!

The 2018 Grand Cherokee is great all around. Style and Comfort a plus. The only con to this is the technology. If you have your phone plugged into a USB port to charge, it automatically pairs to Apple Car Play. There is no way to use the Uconnect blue tooth for the "favorite phone" When you plug the phone into the auto car play and then unplug it, it doesn't automatically pair the favorite phone to the Uconnect bluetooth.

Love the Trailhawk

Our sales person, Brandon Wilke, was incredibly patient. My husband and I were trying to decide between a Grand Cherokee Limited and a Trail hawk (which is what I wanted) and he patiently took the time to pull multiple vehicles out for us to test drive, sit in and try out. At no time did I feel like it was an inconvenience. At the time of the sale (which is when it counts) it was a quick and fair process. I used True Car through USAA. When I took delivery of the Jeep he took the time to go through everything but not be overwhelming. Since the sale I have asked him questions and he has been most helpful. I would recommend him and the dealership. The only thing I wish would happen is within 30 days of sale you received a 20% discount through the parts department as I would like to accessorize my new Grand Cherokee. I really love it; have waited two years to buy it.

Enjoying New Vehicle

The car has all the features that we need. Heated seats & steering wheel are nice and plenty of chargers and USB ports. Still learning all of the apps. I went from a V8 to a V6 and noticed the gas savings immediately without giving up too much speed when I need it.

Buyers remorse

I got too excited. $34,000 vehicle, the passenger seat is MANUAL! And NO LED HEADLIGHTS! You get the absolute 2018 basics with the JEEP logo

Most fun and sporty suv with great gas mileage

This is a very fun and sporty looking suv. It has nearly every available feature you could think of, except a sun roof. It gets great gas mileage. I love everything about this jeep!

High Altitude V8

Powerful, beautiful, easy to drive and has all the tech of a premium luxury vehicle for almost half the price. The High Altitude I think is on a par with the Velar and F-Pace in terms of styling. I get out and I have to admire it as I walk away. The bolstering on the driving seat is a little disappointing, and you will need the SRT or Trackhawk to feel fully strapped in. Likewise having the wood trim on the steering wheel would be nice, though you have to choose the Summit for this option. I chose the High Altitude for the blacked out styling and body kit. The V8 is a little heavy on gas, though it feels worth it. It just keeps climbing and while it isn't sports car off the line quick, it's a huge beast when all 8 pots kick in. On ramps are pretty fun. The ergonomic layout of the buttons, voice controls, lane assist and adaptive cruise control make journeys incredibly relaxing and stressless, and it feels great for cruising rather than always flexing its muscle. Definitely better for highway cruising and rugged conditions rather than city driving as it's heavy going from stop sign to stop sign. You buy this car because you really want it, and I did. Best all-round car I've owned.
