Impressive midsize SUV

Just enough leg room. Lots of power and acceleration. Good ground clearance for off road. One negative. The seats are not all leather. The vinyl portion of the most used seat (driver's seat) cracks and peels. All other seats look new.

A good Jeep

We got it a few weeks ago and are in love with it but we are Jeepers. The 3.7 l is more than ample for power.. the cabin is roomy for a small SUV and simple... factory sound system is also good.

Very Reliable

I am not a car person. I don't keep up with maintenance very well (typical girl) but I had this vehicle for 8 years and rarely had a problem. It went everywhere!! I loved my Liberty!!!

Ho-Hum

I owned this car for about 4.5 years. By the time I was done with it, it had 130,000 miles &, although I had done my best to take care of it, the Jeep was falling apart. From my understanding & my experience, the window regulators are constantly messing up. I had two break in the time I owned it and no one, except a dealership, held the correct regulator to fix it. Further, the thing was a gas.hog. I got about 15 MPG city. I love the Jeeps, but the older liberties have not held up for me.

Jeep Liberties are the best cars ever made!

You cannot put a value on feeling safe in a vehicle. My Jeep Liberty has never let me down in that regard. The electronic stability program (ESP) will automatically correct the handling if the car is on ice, and typically will do so without my ever even knowing the car was on ice! During snow storms I will watch cars lose traction and slide backwards down hills, or across lanes, meanwhile, my jeep keeps going as if it is on dry pavement! And talk about cargo space! I am forever amazed at what you can fit in the cargo area of a Liberty! So far, I have yet to come across anything I could not move in the Liberty!

Great 4x4!

This is my third Jeep. I use it like it was made to be used. It has handled every thing I have thrown at it. Mine has the stock off road package that came with skid plates. I would have broke any of the other little SUV's that were comparable at the time I bought this.

Love it

Was skeptical at first but my Jeep with 74000 miles left the car lot with straight to the Jeep trails and buried it off into a mud hole even with street tires it crawled right out the other side so I decided to keep it.

Still running great at 200k

We bought this vehicle with about 20k miles and now we are pushing 200k. The windows are a problem because there is a cheap plastic part in the regulator that always breaks. After all of the windows failed, we spent a little extra to buy aftermarket regulator repair kits that have metal instead of the plastic part. We've never had a major problem and it still runs great.
