This is a very comfortable vehicle to drive.
This is a very comfortable ride and very roomy. I have had many Jeep products but this is my first Liberty. I am very happy with it.

I love my jeep!
I bought my Jeep Liberty used, but in good condition. We have had to some work, (replace the water pump and heater core)but I love it! It's great for driving in the unpredictable Ohio weather. Its comfortable for our family of 3 and a dog. It's the perfect size for us.

Reliable and durable.
Has been a pleasure to drive, reliable, and very versatile. I couch soccer and it's been great to have with plenty of room for both my players and their equipment.

It Was Good Until Now
The car was good on long distance but not city driven. Sensors let the vehicle after first year. Could not pull window up or down.

Great vehicle until the skyslider breaks
I bought my Jeep Liberty new in 2011 and never had any problems. It drives and handles great and, though a little boxy, looks good as well. I originally bought this car because it has this unique skyslider roof. This is a canvas convertible roof that fully opens to the back as well as the front. I loved this feature and looked forward to warm weather when I could open it. One day this spring I tried to open the roof and just got a loud grinding noise. I brought it to the dealership and learned that some operating cable in the roof had broken. The mechanic tried but was unable to fully close the roof. He quoted me a cost of $2400.00 to replace the part. He then told me that Chrysler had lost their supplier and there would be a wait for the part but I would need to pay up front to place the order. I paid for the part and waited to hear when it was available. I am still waiting, three months later. Chrysler is sorry but there is nothing they can do. I've asked if they can provide a loaner while I wait for them to find a supplier as this is my only vehicle, but unless it is an insurance claim, they will not provide a temporary vehicle and I am left to deal with the situation on my own. I am unable to use the car unless I'm completely sure it won't rain. This means I've been able to use the car less than ten times in the last three months. As time has gone on the roof has pulled in on each end and now the skyslider has 2-3 inch openings all along it's length, it cannot be pulled closed. I am completely at Chryslers mercy and I don't know what to do. Since this has happened to me, I've found many, many other instances of the skyslider failing. This is a defect in the design/quality of the product. I hate writing this review because, prior to this situation, I really loved the Liberty. There is only 53,000 miles on this Jeep and the skyslider was only used a few months each year.
