Love at first sight
I bought my Liberty Latitude new in August, 2012 and I love it! I was looking for that , now rare, truck based SUV body style with a capable 4WD (I live in the snow belt, tow a boat, and park on a slippery slope in my back yard from May `till December + or -). I didn?t have a particular brand in mind when I stepped onto the lot, but my Libby?s deep cherry red crystal pearl, sharply contoured retro truck look won my heart (that never happened with a vehicle before). Even after reading the scathing ?expert? reviews about old school power trains and stroke-inducing gas mileage, I still made the deal. Over one year, and 15000 miles later, I still find excuses to take her for a ride. I?ve had no problems?. none. My liberty has all the bells and whistles (love those heated leather seats), and is a very capable boat hauler. It?s comfortable, and handles very well. It?s just plain fun to drive. Yes, the gas mileage sucks? literally, but is about the same as the other vehicles I?ve owned since the seventies, and much better than some. I?ve simply adopted the mantra:" It?s a Jeep. I didn?t buy it for the gas mileage." It's too bad they are no longer made.

Everything I Need in a Car
I've always loved the style of these cars, but never wanted an SUV type vehicle. But with two dogs, snow in the winter, and a 15 year old car, I needed a change. This car covers all my needs and with the plush interior still pampers my girly side. Reliable, roomy, and comfy.

Best vehicle I've owned
I bought my 2012 Jeep Liberty, Latitude new in July 2012. I've put 10,000 miles on it, done a little off-roading, lots of highway miles, lots of in-town miles, towed a boat, and use it as my everyday, all-around vehicle. I have found absolutely nothing I didn't love about it in 14 months of use. The seats are very comfortable (I have the leather seats) even after driving several hours; it runs smoothely on the highway and has excellent get-up-and-go when passing. It's an excellent winter vehicle, I never had a single problem driving around town in the winter with our very steep, snow-covered streets. I love the shorter, old-style Cherokee windshield for clarity of view. The storage capacity never ceases to amaze me. I have honestly never checked the gas mileage, but it doesn't seem any worse than my old 2000 Jeep Cherokee, which I loved. It's been in for a couple o oil changes/services and nothing was found - no leaks, no wear. This is the fifth car I've owned, and it's the first one I fell in love with at first sight and stayed in love. I have receommended the 2012 Jeep Liberty to everyone I know, and only recently I heard that it was discontinued. That's a complete mystery to me, as I'd buy another one without hesitation.

Great Value for money
I have owned the 2012 Liberty for several months; driven about 2000 miles so far. I purchased the jeep as the 2nd owner with 13200 miles. less than $22 purchased the Latitude edition with tow package; leather; heated seats, 4X4, great package for the money; could not find another truck or SUV in this price range with these options; and the vehicle has performed great so far; very comfortable on highway or off road; feels solid; have towed once so far with no issues. I am not sure why jeep discontinued this vehicle. I would highly recommend the Liberty. If gas mileage is a big concern; beware this is not a gas sipper; this is a Jeep!

2012 Jeep LIberty Sport
I am a first time Jeep owner, I have owned the 2012 Liberty for 9 months now and am very pleased with it overall. As many have stated the gas mileage is a bit low, but then I figure it's a jeep with 4 wheel drive so I don't expect the same gas mileage as a regular car from it. I like the body style and the interior is nice but the hard plastic is a little to hard. The leather seats are comfortable and the leg room is good. I don't quite understand why people think the V-6 engine is sluggish, I find that it does quite well for my use. Good vehicle so far, very satisfied with it so far.

Good Jeep
Would recommend this Jeep. Bought a 2012 Liberty Sport. Tinted the windows. All I need. Good jeep! I owned a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited for 4 yrs. Third owner w/ 225k miles. Everything still worked but it was time for a new Jeep. The Liberty fits the bill. White with black accents and limo tint on the windows. I love it! Who cares about the gas, its a Jeep!

My First Jeep product
This is my first Jeep. I am a former Volvo and Mercedes owner. I feel that the Liberty is well made and a great everyday driver. I have read reviews that people complain about the interior quality, I feel for a Jeep it's above par. The only thing I would have liked to see is better gas milage.

Very poor fuel economy
Pros: Comfortable, More room than even needed, Nice Looking, Amazing off Road, Powerful, Real 4x4 SUV, great in weather Cons: HORRIBLE GAS MILEAGE I Love everything about this truck exept for one thing, the gas mileage. I do not run my vehicle rough at all. All I get in this truck is 6-8MPG. This is so bad that I cannot even drive it. This is such a shame because I love this truck so much and cannot even enjoy it. Jeep needs to look into this because it is no where near as advertised. I am going to get a Jeep dealer to look at it because there is no reason this is all I get. If they cant fix it, I will have to get rid of it and I dont want to. This is my only complaint with this vehicle.
