Great car, good 4 wheel drive! It has all the basics that you need to get around bad roads and is comfortable and has enough storage as the bigger subs that are now front wheel drive

Solid, safe car, plenty of legroom front and back. Mileage for city driving is great! Very pleased!

The Renegade is a fun 4x4 commuter. It's top-heavy, so I'm planning to widen the stance of the tires, as I did with the 2003 Liberty that I replaced with this Renegade. Good gas mileage, good acceleration, great design, nice extras all over the car, from the bigfoot image to the spider. Well-thought-out vehicle.

The little jeep meets all my needs. The engine is spirited and runs smooth. Sometimes the trans searches for the right gear of 9 gears, but barely noticeable. The 4/4 and all wheel drive system is flawless. Really haven't had to not use the all wheel drive this winter. It is truly a jeep and feels like one. Plenty of room in the cargo portion for normal trips to the store, but if you need more, just put the back seats down. Since it is new, can't say much about reliability. lol, had it 4 months and only have 1100 miles on it.

In the fall of 2017 I purchased a new 2017 Jeep Renegade from a dealer in Anchorage Alaska. I live in a remote Alaskan town with the closest mechanic over 100 miles away - in Canada. I made it clear to the dealer I needed a reliable, sturdy vehicle. The car was fine until the temperature dropped below 20F then it would start - and immediatly stall with a noticalble smell of gas. I called the dealer and he recommended using Heet and blamed the bad gas in the town. Heet did nothing and no other car is having the same problem. The dealer is over 700 miles away and I can't have the car towed back. There's no one to work on it here and the dealer is unwilling to do anything more. The car is a princess car - it'll only run if it's warm and sunny. Which means i'm walking to work at 20 below. Moral is don't buy Jeep and don't buy a Jeep Renegade. As soon as possible I'm taking it to another town to trade it in for a Japanese or Korean car. Something reliable.

My first brand new car in 30 years and I am so pleased with it! We narrowed down our choices to a Ford Escape or Jeep Renegade. The Renegade won and I couldn?t be happier!

I think this vehicle has good mileage and value for a Jeep 4x4. Rides very smoothly and easy to drive.

Have not had this vehicle long enough to form an opinion about it's reliability. The four cylinder engine has enough power to get it moving and does not feel sluggish

I love the style. Fun to drive. Previously owned 2 patriots this Jeep is way more comfortable. Fits in my garage with room to walk all around it
