2019 Jeep Wrangler consumer reviews

This is my 5th Jeep Wrangler and second Rubicon. The 2019 JL is better in almost every way than the 2017 JK that I replaced it with. The 4 cyl turbo is very quick to accellerate and gets great fuel economy. The 8 speed automatic transmission is smooth, fast shifting and always finds the right gear. My first 400 miles have averaged 22 MPG even though most driving was in 10-20mph winds. Although style is a personal thing, this Wrangler has a real style to it. The UConnect 4 package has a huge, bright display, is excellent and easy to use and the included Alpine speaker option sounds even better than the one in my 2017 did. My only concern is that the hard top seems to have more wind noise than my previous 2 wranglers. This one does not have headliners yet so hopefully that will help. This, being a 2 door, has a much more pitchy, bouncy ride than my previous 4 door. It sucks up bumps just fine though and I don't mind the way it rides. Turning radius is unbelievable, even compared to previous 2 door Wranglers.

This Jeep is so fun to drive, worth the value and all the hype! The ruggedness partnered with the technology updates etc makes for a nice balance! Beyond exciting to spend more time driving it.
