I built this from new in 2009, to enjoy with my (3) little kids, fast forward, my kids aren't so little anymore. Time for something bigger.

A lot of fun but very unreliable *was 2005 not 09

NOTE: My Jeep was a 2005, not a 2009. I loved my Jeep for the first year or two that I owned it. However, the longer I drove it, the more issues that came up. I bought it used, with 65,000 miles on it, and added a little over 40,000 more in the 3 years I owned it. For a vehicle with just over 100,000 miles on the clock, it had WAY too many problems. I was constantly working on it. For a supposedly durable and heavy duty vehicle built to go off-road and survive a good deal of abuse, parts were wearing out far too quickly, and I had a plethora of electrical issues with it as well. I went from loving it to hoping someone would steal it or crash into it so I could get the insurance money to buy something else.

Great All Purpose

On and off road fun and family friendly. I love the height of the vehicle with a slight lift kit. Never have to worry about lights in my rearview mirror durring night time driving.

Excellent recreational vehicle

Extremely fun to drive for recreational purposes but may not be so great for every day use. Jeep Wranglers will go just about anywhere you want and it is very rare to ever see them stuck - they are usually the ones pulling other cars out of the sand or mud.

Great Jeep to get the family and supplies to camp

This Jeep met all of my families needs when heading from Virginia to our remote cabins in the Catskill and Adirondack mountains. I have owned several Chevy, 2 wheel drive pickup trucks over the last 25 years but I would have to park them at the bottom or half way up the mountain when heading to camp, depending on the weather conditions. My Jeep has always made it right to the cabins front door whether it be Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring!
