Garbage
New transmission, 5 speed manual @ 5835 miles! No loaner car. Kia consumer affairs aweful to deal with. Talking to anyone is against "protocol". Worst car and company i have ever dealt with.

Love the Forte
This car is fantastic! The features on the Forte are comparable to features of much more expensive cars. The Forte has some real getup too; now I never have to worry about getting up to speed to merge on to the highway like I did with my old Mitsubishi Lancer. After test driving a lot of other cars before my purchase, including the 2011 Hyundai Elantra and 2012 Hyundai Accent, this is the best car for the money.

36K
We bought this car in March 2010 & driven it everywhere even from TX to FL & back & the performance is excellent! It works great for me & our two kids. My husband who is 6'2" is comfortable in it as well (in either the driver or passenger seat)! We really love the middle arm that pulls down in the back because it has two drink holders that my kids utilize frequently. I love the blinker signals on the side mirrors, it's a great safety feature. This car is really cute & definently a good buy for the $!

201 Kia Forte EX
I would not recommend this car to anyone I know. The car comes with bluetooth, satellite radio, sunroof, alloy wheels, power windows and door locks, and it comes with problems.... My vehicle is still currently experiencing the following defects/problems which I have been in the repair shop over 5 times unresolved. ? Bluetooth; Loud Noise when connecting a compatible phone from the list on kia.com ? Driver Side Rear Door Molding keeps peeling and bubbling ? Engine; Chirping noise when accelerating ? Engine; Thumping noise when accelerating ? Door Panel on Driver side door; has loose spring noise when going over bumps on higher speeds drives me nuts ? Cheap pvc type plastic has horrible feel ? Loosing Gas Mileage engine is not optimized properly ? Engine very weak ? Tip tronic shifter doesnt shift well between 2 and 3rd gear. I have owned this car for 3 months and I regret ever buying it. I believe the 2011 SX model with the better 5 speed transmission and strong engine would be a better buy. That is the model I test drove and they sold me a lower model. My advice don't buy left over cars sitting on the lot. Don't buy the car if it has imperfections of any sort becuase it will have other things wrong with it. Go for the higher model. Mostly I would go for honda, toyota, or nissan if I would do this over. Kia is still lower end car that is falling apart.

Trying Kia
I had to because that's all I could afford. 11K for a brand new Kia 2010 Forte. i drive roughly 40K a year so the warranty played a big part in the purchase decision. The best part? The sticker advertizes 30-34 mpg. I bought the 5 speed manual and I get 38 - 41 mpg. Gas Station-Sad, Wallet-very happy !!! Good acceleration in all gear (even in fifth). A little noisy at higher speeds on highway. So far so good. Will write more after 30K. No nickname.

Great car so far
I recently purchased a car exactly like this one and from the same dealership. I was very pleased with the salesperson and the dealership. The car is great on gas and has more room than you would think. Based on my experience, I would recommend the car and the dealership to everyone.

Perfect Car
I helped my daughter to purchase her first car. After researching many vehicles, the Kia Forte EX came out number 1. It was perfect for a 1st time car owner. We could not believe all the upgrades that she was getting for such an affordable price. With all the upgrades the Kia Forte EX was a safe vehicle for my daughter to be driving. The warranty was extremely sweet too. I'm so glad we did our research.

Bigger than it looks
I recently purchased a 2010 Forte used. Had 7500 miles on it. Let me say....those mile did a great breaking it in for me. I am 6'3" and not a small man and this lil car is very roomy. The only thing i wish about it is it was higher off the ground. The interior has very good leg room for both driver and passenger. Dont know about the back since I haven't had anyone back there yet. The stereo has decent sound and teh bluetooth is great. I'M glad I gave this lil car a look.

A steal on a new car!
The Kia Forte EX I purchased at Fairfax Hyundai/Kia is a great value. The car is actually a Hyundai Elantra underneath. It is a proven, reliable, safe vehicle. However, due to quality issues 10 years ago before Hyundai took over, many Americans view Kia's with skepticism. Because of that, the 2010 Kia Forte has a 2000 rebate, and another 500 rebate if you trade a competitor car (like a civic. corolla, Mazda3, or Sentra. So, I bought my Forte EX sedan on December 29, 2010, and I jotted down what I was willing to pay. The sticker was $17,980, I offered 16k. They accepted the offer reluctantly, and then I got a $2500 rebate. So, I paid $13,500 for the Forte. Then, I sold my Sentra to a friend, and put down 2000 cash. So, I financed 11,500 plus tax and tags..so a total of 12k. That brought my payment to 184 mo, with a 100k warranty. I popped in my Garmin GPS and plugged in my MP3's via the car's USB port. Also, the car is gorgeous. I get a lot of women checking it out in particular. It rides great, gets 34mpg hwy, and has every option that matters. You gotta drive one. ALSO, ALL MAINTENANCE AND TIRES ARE INCLUDED. It is VERY roomy. I am 6'2" and 250 pds, and I fit perfect. I kept my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee for inclement weather and for it's massive V8 engine in the family..since it's paid for. It looks very much like a civic in the front, and a lot like a Mitsu Lancer in the back. Nice quality floor mats and a trunk tray were included as well. It does not have alloy wheels, a sunroof, or a spoiler, but it does have steering wheel controls for the stereo, cruise, etc. The stereo has 6 speakers and jams. The 2.0 liter 4 cyl has 156 HP, and has a reliable 4spd automatic. Second gear is very tall, so dont expect warp speed unless you floor it, but it is a light car, and has more base horsepower than any car in it's class. I could go on, but I am tired of typing. -Maxpower (I got the name off my wifes hairdryer)
