Highest MPG car we have ever owned
Great value car with good styling and fantastic gas mileage. Seats could be a little more comfortable. Car has more than enough acceleration for our needs.

Real nice but get a higher package!
I leased an XL hybrid, non plug in. The car is excellent. The color intense. I?m getting outstanding gas mileage. It?s great driving a hybrid and I?m getting use to it?s handling. It does not have DRLs. That is most disappointing. But, the dealer is making good and installing them. I think the Niro is excellent in every way. Just get a higher option package. You will not regret it.

Excellent vehicle with only one small gripe
This is what a hybrid should be. I've owned hybrids in the past and have been frustrated for many reasons. They're usually very underpowered and I *hate* CVT. I like to hear a car go through its gear ratios. The Niro has a dual clutch automatic which is very smooth and alleviates that issue. While in eco mode the car drives well. However, put it in to sport mode and you'd have no idea it was a hybrid. It's got a lot of pep to it for something that I'm currently averaging 54 mpg in. I love the blind spot warning system, even though it's not really needed in this vehicle because there are no real blind spots. It's accurate except for when you're signalling when turning on a multi-turn lane highway but the car doesn't know that. The heated seats are fantastic. All of the previous vehicles I've had the seats get warm pretty much when you arrive at your destination. These ones kick right in within a minute or two. Apple Carplay works flawlessly and it's integrated in to the rest of the system very well so you don't have to do a lot of jumping around when you want to go from Carplay to satellite radio, etc. My biggest gripe is wind noise. I'm not sure what's causing most of it but I suspect it's the antenna. If it wasn't for that, the car would be quite quiet. So long as you're listening to the radio at a decent volume it isn't distracting though.

Love my hybrid
I love this car. T had everything I was looking for; cargo capacity, great gas mileage, Apple CarPlay, and cool styling. I will say in lighter colors it looks a little bloated but in the black or dark grey it?s nice!

I enjoy our new Niro.
The car meets or exceeds my expectations. The driver interface is great and allows me all the features I could want use. I would however like to see the passenger side seat have the same control features as the drivers side seat.

Nice little SUV with great gas mileage
This is a cute little hybrid SUV that gets great gas mileage. I traded a Chevy Volt, which I loved but it wasn?t holding any value as the newer models come out. The Niro doesn?t have as much pick up as the Volt, but it?s acceptable as an SUV. The interior is very comfortable and everything is well within my reach (I?m only 5?2? so some of the bigger SUVs are not a good fit for me).

Love my new Kia Niro
In order to get 50 mpg, Kia had to sacrifice power. As a result, the car is quite sluggish. It is well worth the trade off. It?s a bargain compared to the Prius depending on how reliable it turns out to be. I just bought the car, so I can?t really judge reliability.
