Love it!

This car does everything except tap dance. (It may do that, too, and I just don't know it yet.) I am consistently getting over 50 mpg in town. It is roomy inside and yet small enough to park easily. Really cute and quite.

MPG got me happy

Im a bigger man and this SUV was one of two that actually had a confortable driver seat area for me where I did not feel cramped. Only had it for a month or so but love getting the 53+ mpg driving around and still having room for people in the back, and some storage. It had all the things I was looking for but some of the tech is not 100% user friendly.

50+ MPG in the first month!

Thus far, I'm very impressed with the Kia Niro. We own the EX version with the Premium Package, and really enjoy the all leather seats and the added technology this package brings. Pro tip, the EX with the Premium package nets about 6 mpg better fuel economy over the Tourning Edition with similar upgrades, due to the 16" tires and lighter weight. So far, so good.

Love it so far!

Bought the Niro about 2 weeks ago and like it much better than expected. I owned two Prius' before - last one for 8 years and would still have it except it got flattened by a falling tree in a storm. Decided to go with a small SUV, either a plug-in hybrid or an all electric. Looked at the Leaf and really liked it but didn't see stopping on trips for an hour to recharge. Next up was the Niro and the Rav4. The Niro won out due to 10k less price, 0% interest, and higher gas mileage. So far my gas mileage is better than the Prius and better than expected - averaging about 48mpg with one trip at 85mpg due to mostly using the electric motor only. The only two issues I have are (why 4 stars for design): 1. no homelink and 2. not much storage space in the driver compartment. The Niro is comfortable, nice looking, lots of great features, fun to drive, and great gas mileage. Four stars for reliability because I've only had it about 2 weeks and never had a Kia before so can't really say yet.

Versatile Hybrid

There's more to this than what you see at first glance. I've read reviews saying poor pick up, or transmission issues, during test drives. With the electronic dual clutch, you can choose performance modes. There are Eco and Sport modes. Eco moves you along saving as much gas as possible. Then there is Sport Mode. When you NEED some pick up this can get you moving. It's not a sports car, but it can get out of it's way. Beyond that, it's a solid 5 passenger wagon (NOT AN SUV) with enough room inside. The seats have a height adjustment, if it feels too low. It has the Tech most people expect, Bluetooth, Backup camera, Apple Car/Android Auto, along with options for Advanced Cruise Control, Autonomous Braking and Parking Assistance. It gets me where I need to go and I really like skipping past the gas station. My biggest complaints are the cup holders on the doors feel flimsy and it doesn't have onboard WiFi.

Great in gas

Bought because of excellent gas mileage and I am a previous owner of a Kia. Great looking and driving. A little more power is all I would ask for.

Exceeds Expectations

Wasn?t sure I?d like driving a hybrid, but the 6 speed transmission ( as opposed to a CVT) in my EX gives me the economy while being fun to drive. Offers great value for the money. Build quality seems very good
