My first hybrid

I have only owned it a few months so far but (cross my fingers) it is great! I love the exterior, the interior, the 40+ local and 55+ highway mpg, and especially the quiet drive. It has great pickup and keeps up with my driving no problem. Handles great so far. The only drawback to me are the tires since I live in the country. City and suburb dwellers wouldn't have my problem. I am concerned about long term mechanical issues but I'll deal with that if it comes up (warranty should cover me if so).

New to the hybrid

I have never had a hybrid before and I love the car. It is so smooth when driving and the interior is so comfy and has a great design. My kids love it and so do I.

Great perf. and gas mileage with Optima Hybrid!

Excellent performance and great gas mileage (40 MPG) with this stylish car. It is amazing to watch this car automatically switch from electric to gas to both propulsion without feeling any difference in performance. When I need power to enter I-90, both the gas and electric motors kick in for great performance. and when at cruising speed, the gas motor shuts down and it runs at speed only on electric motor for great gas mileage. AND you don't know this is all happening automatically. Great car!!

Great improvements for a hybrid!

I enjoy the gas mileage savings as well as it doesn't even feel like I'm driving a hybrid. Very impressed!

This car is awesome and a great value

This has been an excellent car so far. I?ve owned a lot of cars and trucks. This is the first Kia I have owned. I?ve only owned it a month but it?s averaging 40 MPG in suburban driving. I bought the car as a commuter car and I?m so impressed with the styling and gas mileage. The car feels solid and has plenty of power for a hybrid. It doesn?t feel under powered and I haven?t even switched it from Eco mode. It still has normal and sports mode if I wanted more power. The car has plenty of passenger interior space and it gets 40 MPG! I purchased a 2017 when the 2018 came out so the rebates on it made the car so affordable. I had 3 grown men in the car with me and we had plenty of space and still average 39 MPG. This car is awesome. I test drove VW Passat and I think the Optima was a better value and just felt like a nicer car. I would buy this car again any day. Very impressive Kia!

5th Kia purchase

Was not sure a Hybrid was for my family, after owning it for few days. We made the purfect chioce. With its sleek design it makes driving an ease. Three adults fit in rear seat which is important for our family.
