The Best Minivan Out There

Before I bought this van. I researched all its competitors. Drove most of them. And based on features, comfort, safety, warrenty, and price. I chose the Sedona. It is superior to all the Detroit brands and plain undercuts Toyota and Honda on price and warrenty. I've had the van for 2 months with hardly any problems. Only a stuck middle row seat and the hood was re-painted because the dealer buffed it to hard. I highly recommend the Kia Sedona.

Great value

Bought 2006 LX used couple of months ago, and costed me under $15K on the road. Did a lot of research, and this van is a great value for money. The engine packs quite a punch, especially during the start. I think the ability to deliver max torque at relatively low RPM is what makes it feel perky. It also handles very well. Anyway, very happy with the choice and did not find any negatives yet.

Best Minivan Out There

I've had this van for about 3 weeks and it has been fantastic. It is by far the best van for the money. Very comfortable. Decent gas mileage. Strong acceleration. Exterior styling is minivan conservative, but the interior is modern and well laid out. No one can beat the 5 year/60,000 mile warranty. If you don't test drive one. You will be sorry. Check out the 2006 models first because they currently have a $4000.00 rebate!

580 miles and in the shop for a week

Own this van for a week and half in it's in the shop. Very uncomfortable for tall drivers. 580 miles and timing belt broke. I didn't want the hunk of junk but my wife did. Spend the extra money go for a toyota.

safety&trust first

we had Dodge Caravan, silver before......after 138,000 miles,4 years and broken front axe we said: that's it! we went online to find trusted friend, that we can keep for many years, with minimum repairs, hope. Kia sedona 2006,3.8 L,silver (again),brand new. It is too early to say what's wrong,I can say what seem to be great: a lot of power,242 HP,and 3.8 L compare to Caravan with (about) 104 HP and 3.0 L......... of course, you have to keep in your mind, that 3.8 L need to eat, especialy in town, when you do: stop and go,but on long ride,or highway it looks realy good, around 25 mpg. Kids loves the mid-windows,that can be open. My wife love the heat&AC individualy operated for all 3 rows. I like the warranty.I just hope, that will be not nessesary to use it. like I said,is too early to see all good-bad yet. only 2 things for now:the gas milage in town, not great, but remember on 242 HP under the hood. Highways are O.K.,you should make around 25 mpg, with smooth driving. one more thing, that may interested Kia producers is more noise in cabin, especialy when driving faster(50-60 and more),maybe just better insulation? After all, it looks like great family van of end of first decade of 21-st century, not too fancy or complicated. We are looking for trusted friend for our family, that's why we choosed this vehicle. Thank you.

Lap of Luxury

Actually enjoy driving this mini-van which was bought to suit my wife. Has good power, tons of features, is very comfortable and engine has not missed a beat in the 10K miles we have driven it. I have generally owned and driven European sedans and find the KIA comparable in design, fit, and finish. Love the heated seats, power pedals, and easy to reach controls. Have hauled a 3500 lb boat without complaint. The auto-stick is overkill but a blast to play with going up and down big hills, usually leave it on automatic. The Sedona impresses me as not only the best mini-van we have owned but one of the best vehicles. We get between 12 (city, 0.8 mile commutes) and 25 (summer trips at 75 mph) mpg. Dealer has been great with service and warranty work. Between van and sedans bought in last few years my wife, son, and I have 70,000 miles driving experience in KIAs ... originally bought as bargains but now believe deliver best value and a fine driving experience.

Best Minivan On Market, My Second Kia Mini Van.

Abosolutely , love this my all new 2006 Kia Sedona Minivan, this is my second! I previously owed a 2003 Kia Sedona and Love that as well. Reliable Reliable Reliable! Comfortable Comfy and Safest minivan. You can definetly feel it the moment you step into your KIA Sedona. I own the EX with the Power package, power sliding doors, rear and Hatch. Love the Back up warning system when with pulling out of garage. I love it and would recommend this 2006 KIA Sedona over any minivan in its class.

Excellent Minivan and Outstanding Value.

We purchased the Kia Sedona three months ago and are very pleased with it. After careful and extensive research on minivans, we decided on the Kia. It is simply an outstanding value. The safety equipment is excellent (six airbags, ESC, ABS, etc) and standard on all models. The engine is powerful and we average 25 mpg on the highway. It has all the necessary equipment expected in a modern minivan. The exterior styling is modern and fresh. The cabin is made of good quality materials. It is well thought out and controls are easy to reach (excellent ergonomics). We have put 6500 miles so far with zero problems. If you are in the market for a minivan, the Sedona should be on your list.

Ford Explorer

My wife and I did our research before we purchased the Sedona, the Kia always ended up at the top of our list. The safety features, warranty, and styling were the key things that made us look at the Kia Sedona. The folks at Florin Rd Kia really treated us well and worked hard to make sure we got the vehicle we wanted for the price we were looking for. I think Kia has come a long way in just the past ten years, and produce a very good vehicle with more bang for the buck. It may sound strange, but I actually feel cool driving this minivan. I really didn't want a minivan, but it only made sence to buy one for dragging kids around and all of the stuff that goes with kids. I love the automatic doors on my van, it makes it so easy to load things without having to set anything down just to open the doors. A simple push of a button is all it takes, it's like magic. The ride is very quiet and smooth, but the front seats are a little on the small side for larger people like me (6'5" and 300lbs), but I can deal with it. The handling is very sharp and there is a good feel through the steering wheel. The brakes are very strong and never leave you guessing. The engine has enough power to get you around the slow moving motorhome that has had the left turn signal on for the last twenty miles, and the transmission is very smooth and perfectly matched with the engine. As much as I hate to say this about a minivan, I love my Sedona and would really be willing to purchase another Kia vehicle in the near future.

Great Highway Runner

We picked up the car on Friday with 6 miles on it and drove from DC to Canada and back in 10 days (about 2200 miles). Smooth ride, zero problems, and over 20 miles per gallon cruising at east coast highway speeds with seriously cold air conditioning. We've owned 2 Grand Caravans, but thought the KIA had more features for the dollar, and I personally liked the tight build and good handling. Also, we got the base model with just a roof rack as an option, but it's got every feature you'd expect in a well equipped van. Kids love the back windows, which lower and eliminate the prisoner-in-the-back-seat feel. All in all, a super nice van.
