Love my Sorento!
The extras are great - The heated/cooled seat and heated steering wheel seemed ridiculous when I bought it, but they are awesome on a cold morning or a hot day/coming back from the gym.

The Best Value for Your Money
I was able to negotiate a sweet deal on my fully loaded Kia Sorento SX. It rides well, and it has heated and cooled driver's seat. It has 3 rows, and plenty of room. I'm glad I got it.

Rear seat stuck
I have had my 2012 Sorrento the past 4 years and it has been a solid buy for the price up until this past week. I made the mistake of putting my rear seat down to have more room in the back for my golf clubs. I may have used the feature less than 10 times and found I could no longer get the seat back up. The dealer informed me that it will cost me $1000 to fix the latch since it is frozen and must be replaced. How does a part used 10 times break to a point that I have to pay $1000 to fix ? I have paid less than $1000 for some cars. I know I cannot be the only person with this problem. Be careful !

impressed with the beast
I recently purchased the 2012 KIA Sorrento sx v6. I have to say that I'm really impressed. After looking at the other SUV in its class. The Sorrento is the best for the money. The SUV has all the bells and whistles. Options that I didn't even know that came in the SUV. The v6 motor is responsive and let's you in and out of traffic at the step of the pedal. I would recommend the vehicle to any one looking into a SUV. My family only consist of my wife and five year old son. So most of the time the last rear seats are folded down. Making it have a great truck for what ever the heart desires in storing back there.

Nice car
We had an older Sorento, which we loved. The only reason we sold it was the fuel milage was fairly poor, but the vehicle was very comfortable. This new Sorento is quite a bit better on fuel than the older body style. The only thing we found disappointing was the lack of a temp gauge in our new LX. It was a standard item in both of our other vehicles, so we didn't notice it was missing until a few days after we bought it.

Very Pleased With this Car!
Going into year number 3, and still love this vehicle. Everything still works and I haven't had to repair anything mechanically so far. I did have an area fixed around a bolt on the bumper that had very little but still some rust staining. I also didn't like how plain the dash was. My husband added a wood grain dash kit I bought. It looks great and very rich. I think Kia did a great job on this redesign in 2011 and I stand behind my review.

Good vehicle with some design irritations
I have 2012 EX V6 Awd with moonroof. Driven with 21,000 Km. so far no issues and have been pleased with vehicle. Interior defiantly has an Audi monochrome influences which is not surprising given designer was ex Audi. Interior plastics could be better as cheaper hard plastic used on dash. Yes a firm ride which is good in the twisties but suspension show it's limits as can bottom out when pushed and roads uneven. In Eco mode it is sluggish from a start, but use Auto in manual mode, mash throttle and things get more interesting and a decent acceleration. I have found that moving up to mid grade gas really helps with engine running stronger, smother and dare I say I seem to get better mileage although only @ extra 50 km on full tank. Speaking of mileage I am not surprised those with 4cyl get poor mileage. Heavy car + small engine = poor mpg! You are going to hit the gas pedal to get that weight moving which is why I bought the V6. Equal or better than 4 cyl especially with people and gear in ( which let's face it is why you would buy this kind of vehicle) Anyway not a bad vehicle but expensive in Canada, and Kia cheaped out on interior

So glad I didn't buy the BMW X3
First off I bought a 2014 Sorento SX in black. I'm glad I came to my senses and realized that the Sorento has every feature a luxury car has but at $15,000 less. Yes, I've test drove the x3 and it is a nice but over priced vehicle. Even the Audi Q5 was on my list. Then I test drove the Sorento and shattered my misconceptions. The Sorento is for someone who wants a SUV with all the luxury options and realizes that paying 50k for a vehicle is ridiculous. The Sorento gives you memory seats, 8inch screen navigation, premium sound, blind spot detection, rear view camera, and power lift gate, just to name a few options all for under 40K. Throw in the 290 hp fuel efficiency with regular 87 octane not premium required gas and it really is a no brainer.
