2014 Kia Sorento consumer reviews

I purchased my 2014 AW Sorento few months ago. Before the first Kms.5000, I started to have some problems with its transmission. The shifts became hard. I complained to the dealer and he reset the computer for both the gear and the engine. However, I still have this gear problem and I sent it back to the dealer. I heard from the people working there that some other customers suffer same problem of hard shifting of the gear , especially from second to third. I feel like my gone with the wind for a chariot and that I should advise all to rely on old trusted manufacturers whatever. The dealer said it is a PC unit problem. Let's wait and see. All to say. BE CAREFUL where you spend your money.

I live on south Tucson and I drove to Tempe 2 hrs from my Home but I found the cheapest price in AZ.

My first impression was (Ray) was a fast talking "typical sales guy" was I ever wrong. After 20 minutes he helped me and my husband to understand he actually cared for our needs. Image that he actually cared about us and not a commission. In my life ive never ever met the intensity level of Ray at Kocourek Kia ever! He stated that would be our funnest buying experience ever and in 30 years of experience he was right. Go see him and see for yourself you won't be bored by any means! My only complaint they didn't have my exact color I wanted but I did get the experience I never expected, and that's a good thing! !!!!

I just bought a 2014 Sorento LX and it's great! When you compare standard features with other SUV's in it's class you will see the Sorento is a better value. I test drove both engines and I have to recommend the 290hp V6, especially if you will be carrying several people or you travel to the mountains. The four cylinder could barely move out of it's own way, the cost and mileage difference between the engines is negligible. The warranty can't be beat and there are Kia dealerships everywhere if you need service or parts.

I love my 2014 Kia Sorento. I love the style, ride and performance. I bought my Sorento from Yonkers Kia and I am extremely glad I did. The sales staff is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. When I went to look at the Sorento it was then that I met my salesman, Max, who is the absolute best. I then met the Sales Manager, Melvin Abreu who was fantastic throughout this process. Melvin was able to get me the car I wanted at the payment I could afford. Both Melvin and Max made this entire buying experience very easy and pleasant for me. This is a very nice, comfortable vehicle. It is put together well and shows it. There are options for everyone. The base LX with the I4 engine (which I bought) has many amenities in it for the price. You can get it dolled up however you like and it won't exceed the bottom price of the Acura MDX which it looks very similar to. My mileage is exceeding the EPA estimate all around. So far, I have no complaints.

Excellent!! Seats seven when the kids have friends with us. A good amount of storage in the back when 3rd row is down.

I've driven a Ford my entire life , but decided to try the Kia Sorento. I heard many others rave about this vehicle and I must agree ! It has everything I wanted as well as competitive value in the crossover market . I am very pleased with my purchase :)

Best buy for my money, amazing quailty, love everything about it!! The panoramic sunroof is wonderful. It brings so much added light, makes it feel more open and has tons of room on the third row!
