2014 Kia Sorento consumer reviews

I have 60,000 miles on my Kia Sorento and haven't missed and oil change yet. Sorento started over heating and just thought maybe I might need a new thermostat. Took it to the dealership which they the told me would be 120 buck for the diagnosis, then tried to charge me 240 for two diagnosis ????. The KIA dealership still didn't find out what was wrong with it and said they have to send the whole engine to the manufacture which would cost 1000 for there diagnosis? The dealership said it might be the head gasket and could cost me over 10,000 dollars. I am a very good driver with no wrecks or speeding tickets. kept up with all my oil changes and tune ups. There is no reason why a car at this age should have any engine problems under 100,000 miles on it. Please be aware of buying a KIA

It was roomy in the front and back seats as well . Did not like the way the floor mats were in, broke the contraption that held them down. To hard to get them out to clean.

Car falls short for what it cost. Engine problems, started burning oil at 80k miles now, backup camera stopped working, door locks stopped working, navigation system works when it wants too, and other electrical problems. Dealership (Kia) would or could not fix. Had a extended warranty could not get it fix then too. Now I have no warranty and car is still busted. I will not buy another Kia. These dealers made shore of that with kia’s help. My buddy has a Kia too he’s having the same problems and his is newer car..

It’s only my second day owning my KIA but I am absolutely in love with it! The interior, exterior, the back up camera is amazing especially for parallel parking. I have driven plenty of cars and this once drives extremely smooth. So far it seems like it’ll be a reliable car.

I absolutely love my car and all the features! I love the smart key system. very convenient! Well within my price range. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone!

Has 28000 miles in 6 years. Oil leakage,ABS & TPM lights Malfunction, steering column noise and out of warranty. 10 year warranty only applies to power train. Garbage!

Over the past 3 years, I’ve been replacing the light bulbs front and back, every other month. It’s getting expensive. The controls on the steering wheel goes in and out all the time.

I think this is a lemon in the engine design and KIA dealers and main office could care less that you don't have transportation. 2014 . 5 years old and the engine is gone. I sold a 1998 BMW that was 20 years old , boy what a mistake that was.

This car has met all my needs so far. Drives smoothly and easy to clean. EnoUgh room for my fur babies and I. Love it!
