Love My Lil Soul

Just bought this vehicle brand new. I’ve upgraded from a 2017 Kia Forte LX, which was a great car regardless of being the base trim. What the Forte really did was completely change my perceptions about the Kia brand. It was embarrassing to even think of owning a Kia car twenty years ago. Fast forward to present day, Kia is hashing out some really great car outside of the hiccups they’ve had with some engines (cough, cough, the Optima). While there is no perfect car brand, Kia is making significant progress. In regards to the 2021 Kia Soul GT-Line, they’ve once again made these boxy car stylish and desirable. Not only is the car comfortable and roomy on the inside, it also provides a smooth ride. It also has some great safety features alongside great versatile utility that some competitors just aren’t offering. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and look forward to the expected reliability from this kindred Soul.

Love This Car!

I love this car. It handles well, is beautiful in design and is priced affordably. The windows provide good visibility and the bottm of the car doesn't scrape on curbs when you park. I would have liked some extra tech features but am pretty satisfied with what I chose.

So far I love it, I live in MN and we have some pretty harsh weather. In snow seems okay, its obviously not like having 4WD but so far so good. I love the

Love It!

As a senior citizen, I need a car that is comfortable to get into and also allows me to see the road as well as possible. My Kia soul makes me feel secure and confident while on the road. It is comfortable for me (5‘0“) and for my nephew (6‘2“). The car handles well and I love the safety features.

1st New Car Purchase

This car has met all of our family needs! There is only 3 of us and our daughter is a preteen who is pretty tall for her age. She has great leg room and space to lay down if we are traveling. The car has space if needed to put the seats down when my wife has to place her massage equipment in it for an event. The sedan is nice and compact enough to get into spots that are not too big.

A very satisfied former Geneis owner

I bought a 2021 Kia Soul EX in November 2020 to replace my 2009 Genesis. As a senior, I was nervous about downsizing from a big car with q V8, but the Kia Soul quickly won me over. It lacks the engine power and the power passenger seat of the Genesis, but it more than makes up for it with its interior space. It easily accommodates our two folding bicycles and a bunch of luggage. And it t has pretty much every other feature of the Genesis. It really doesn't feel like a compromise at all. It feels comfortable, peppy and nimble and the mileage is much better than the Genesis. I have to admit that the Soul is actually more fun to drive than the Genesis. I was concerned when I heard that Consumer Reports had removed the recommended status of the Kia Soul. But when I checked my manufacturing date (September 2020), I came to realize that this issue did not apply to me. I am looking to buy a second Kia Soul for my wife, who used to drive a Pontiac Vibe and enjoyed its higher driving position, better mileage and ease of parking. The Soul provides all of this and much more. All in all, a very good choice for the money.
