Joy to Drive

Drove this car for 10 yrs. Had a few reliability issues but never let me down. Comfort is second to none. Gas consumption is ok, bearing in mind its weight and size. This vehicle stands out weather on your way to a business function, as a daily driver or out on the trails. Would purchase again.

Not Worth the Money

This SUV is a huge disappointment. It does not have 100k miles on it and the transmission needs to be replaced. The quote to get it replaced with a used transmission, $7500! In two years, we've spent almost $7k on repairs. The parts and labor are astronomical. I would not dare purchase another one... Once they meet their warranty, you better get your wallet out. What's amazing, is I have two Toyota's, one at 1998 that has 250k miles on it, never a problem... and a 2006, 270k miles on it, never a problem... but I buy this luxury vehicle and it has let us down more than any other vehicle I've owned.. I owned a Chevy Cavalier at one time!

The Range is simply a far superior ride!

Own this amazing ride for under 10K! The warning light for Suspention and tire pressure has been on for years .....it never interfered with anything else. If you want a perfect car, you might get it at the brand new dealer for 80K plus . If you want a car that looks and runs great with minor flaws, this is your chance.

Go anywhere and quick too

I know I can go anywhere on any road or trail. It is quite comfortable with features like heated steering wheel (great in the winter), on and off road navigation, and info on 4 wheel system right on the screen. Always a head turner and fun to drive. I love it.

Nice vehicle, bad reputation

Vehicle performed well for us over the years. No major repair needs etc. Resale was unbelievable, had to give it away for $6500. Too many in the market and everyone fears the repair expense.

Best SUV ever!!!!

Great Anti-Theft System, reliable for a family and a long road,Performance improvement for 2006 Newly available features. So the 2006 Range Rover has a 4.4-liter Jaguar engine developing 302 horsepower, 20 more than the 4.4-liter BMW V-8 it replaces. And there's a new top model with a 4.2-liter supercharged V-8 adapted from the engine in the Jaguar S-type R and XJR, which puts out 390 horsepower and makes this the fastest-ever production Range Rover. Gasoline models both get ZF's 6HP26 six-speed automatic transmission; a five-speed was standard previously.
