100,000+ miles, still running strong
Aside from an engine computer error once shortly after I purchased my rover in 2011, I have had absolutely no issues with this car at all. I love the older body style, and sitting this high up as a 5’3” female is fantastic for driving. There is plenty of interior space for driver and passengers alike, and the cargo area has ample space to load up. I’ve done off-road courses I’m my vehicle, and performance was stellar across numerous terrains.

Most reliable car I've owned!!!
Bought used and everyone warned me it would have issues. Not so!! 4 yrs later and 85000 miles. Not 1 issue!! Extremely reliable. Solid build. Only complaint is gas mileage!! But it's a high performance V-8. To be expected!!

Car had major engine problems at 58,000 miles. It
I had nothing but problems with this car after 58,000 miles. The car engine blew up at a cost of over $8000. The reliability of the range rover sport is not very good.

Most reliable and fun to drive car I have ever own
This car can pull out a 36,00 lbs 26 foot truck from anywhere. It goes from 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds. With 550hp insanely fast. The dynamic suspension rises and lowers on demand and automatically to level itself. This vehicle is just a beauty.

Range Rover's reputation for being junk is earned
I bought this vehicle for my wife in 2011 certified with 15,000 miles on it. The styling was good. Transmission was responsive. Plenty of power. The car rides like it's on concrete wheels and the vehicle leaves a lot to be desired on wet, icy, or snowing roads, even with brand new Blizzak ice/snow tires. Ultimately, the instances of of spin-outs were the final straw that earned this vehicle the title of worst vehicle that I have ever owned. This vehicle spent a lot of time in the shop for endless warranty items. Windows not rolling down. Door panels (more than one) coming loose. Door handle coming loose. Rear view mirror falling off the windshield. Couldn't get the rear passenger wheel off to try to change the tires (the tire shop broke their breaker bar yanking on it). The maintenance costs are high, as to be expected with a sports car with one exception that is way over the top. I changed the brake pads twice before 35,000 miles on a car that was certified at 15,000. While questioning the service manager on how that was possible, he told me that the vehicle was heavy. I've owned more than one very high performance cars and more than one Escalade. I've never encountered anything like this. The pros: styling. heated windshield. great heated steering wheel. The cons: no remote start. rough ride. annoying problems caused by horrific build quality. Absurd maintenance costs. No power liftgate. Horrible performance in weather. If you buy one of these, make sure to test drive the Land Rover Discovery, because you'll be driving one of those very often while your RRS is in the shop.
