Best and most reliable car ever!!
Bought my 2002 Lexus ES300 from the original owner in April 2021 w 161k miles. They had it serviced at a local Lexus dealership in NJ from day one to 110k miles. They had the timing belt, water pump and valve cover gasket all done at 88k miles. All this info was taken from the lexus owners website using the VIN. A few months after i bought it, the rear struts starting leaking, i had all 4 replaced, also replaced the original Alternator and AC compressor (it started to squeal). This spring i had to change the original starter. All original parts lasted nearly 20 years ! which proves the durability of Lexus (Toyota) parts! Replacement parts except the struts were replaced with GENCO. T This car now has 172k miles and i change the synthetic oil myself every 5k miles. This will last me many years, i don't plan on selling it until the wheels fall off which is never!! It rides like new with new struts, everything still works. Quiet like an EV, super solid and tight. The engine and transmission are solid. At 3k miles after my oil change no oil is burnt off, still shows full on the dipstick. There is a 2002 ES300 on YouTube as of about 3 years ago with 596k miles (highway) w. original engine & tranny. Just a testiment to the build quality

Super reliable, never had any maintenance issues.
I've owned this Lexus ES300 for 18 years (I'm the original owner). The car currently has 136,000 miles on it. This car is the best car I've ever owned. I take it for its regularly scheduled maintenance and that is really the only thing I do for it. It is consistently reliable. Plenty of leg room in the front, however, the back seats are a little tight. The cars amenities all work fine today and include: heated front seats, auto dimming rear view and side mirrors (which are great for when cars come up behind you with high beams on), programmable gate/garage door opener, fully adjustable driver and passenger power seats with 2 programmable positions on drivers side, power windows and locks, rain sensing wipers. The only small, normal problems I've had to deal with are replacing power window devices, timing belt (1 time). Also, similar to another reviewer, my cup holder broke and cost to replace it was several hundred dollars. Lastly, about 4 years ago the car stopped shifting in to its overdrive gear. This has not been problematic at all since the car still uses the other gears fine and the gas mileage has remained mostly consistent. Since purchasing this car, my family has bought 2 more Lexus', both RX350s, which also run great. I recommend doing the regularly scheduled maintenance for the cars. There is a reason why Lexus consistently gets high ratings in customer satisfaction and in reliability from Consumer Reports. I'd highly recommend this car as well as most Lexus models.

It is very smoothly driving. Shifts smoothly and fun to drive, very quiet engine during driving and the seats are comfortable. The most dependable car on the road with super reliability history in the world.
