WOW

I have been driving Subarus for the past 7 years. I was looking into getting a 2008 STI then i came across my 07 IS 350. The STI cant come close to the luxery, comfort, of this lexus. The 350 is very close to performance lacking just a tad in handling, of course, its no rally car. So, if your looking for performance, luxery, and low maintainance cost look no further!

Very Suprising!

Didn't really expect to purcahse an IS350. After researching several vehicles in the segment this turned out to be the real winner. No not an M3, which I was looking at, but for the features and the performance without the dealer hassle the trade off was worth it.

This car IS sweet!!!

This car is the best car I've ever owned (and I've owned a lot). In the real world it is hands down a better car than the BMW 3-series. Let's face it, the superior handling performance of the BMW may suit those driving on the track or taking weekend jaunts but for those of us who will drive their car every day the IS is a better car. The IS is more comfortable, more quiet, more luxurious, more well built, more dependable, more technological, and sexier to boot. BMW's are a dime a dozen; I guarantee BMW owners don't see the number of heads turning as I do when I drive down the road in my IS.

Excellent Car to Own

Lexus is by far the most reliable car made. Well engineered and the service is #1. The IS350 is alot of fun to drive. Highly recommended.

My little rocket

This is by far the most fun vehicle I have ever owned. The handling and the accleration are incredible yet the vehicle is all luxury inside. The Mark Levinson audio sytem is the best sound system I have ever heard in a car. The navigation and bluetooth are easy to learn and work great. The back up camera is a must as you can't clearly see the front nor rear of the vehicle from inside. The touch screen controls for everything from audio to heat is fantastic. The keyless entry and start features are well thought out and quite convienent. On the downside, the fuel economy is not as good as advertised. After 7K miles I am averaging 20.5 mpg and I drive about 50% of my mileage on the highway. The voice recognition system is very hard to use so I don't. If you buy the rear wheel drive model and if you live in a cold climate with snow you will need snow tires . This is quite expensive when you include tires, wheels and pressure sensors but done right, the car handles very well in the snow. The only other hidden cost is for the increased traffic tickets you are likely to receive as a result of owning and enjoying the vehicle.

Total Luxurious

I just got the key yesterday and I was amazed that the car was more than I expected. These surprises are mainly come from its luxurious user friendly features that cover in all dimension of the car. These notable features included keyless entry, auto dimming mirrors, push start feature, power tilted steering, shifting paddles and auto tilted down mirrors. Beside these standards that are listed on the price sticker, there are bunch of small features that Lexus installed to appreciate those customers who need to see where their money well spent on. The place that I am highly appreciated with is all the interior lights on the IS are pointing at the right places that the driver need to reach/see, including the one mounted under the side mirrors to let me see what next to the doors . I am recommending to add on the back up camera option/ parking assistance that?s available, since the clearance of the back is hard to see especially with the tilted down mirror option. The quietness and the ride quality are among its competitor. The back seating even though it is hard to get in/out but the seats are roomier, more comfort and more supportive than the Germen?s 3 series. The superior finishing of the IS gives one luxury feeling yet the sportiness from the Infinity G35. There is no match for the 3 series speaking of interior design but the handling on IS is still a lesson for Lexus to learn. The sport suspensions did add nice balance for the IS. But while turning a downhill 360 off ramp, the IS does not handle as well as I expected. Probably due to the heavy weight that the car added in. I believe is that Toyota (the maker) does not handle heavy cars as well as their light weight compact cars. However, the smooth responsive 306 hp engine with six speed transmission is really the reason I go for this car. It matched the horsepower of the new 335 and G35 (actually BMW and Infinity just caught up this year) but the acceleration of IS is slightly faster than the others. The reason that IS really helps me easier to pick is the its better gas mileage and the its lower maintenance cost. It is hard for me to sit a car that I well spent on with the outdated design for the next few years, so I pick IS 350 and I would recommend this car to everyone.

Luxury and Performance

I've owned this car for a year now, and it really handles very well and the acceleration is excellent. My one caveat is that the steering is soft on the highway, and I find myself making micro adjustments to the steering all the time instead of just cruising along with my hand resting on the wheel. Compared with the BMW, which I drove, the Lexus has lots more standard (or available with the premium package) luxury features and is quite a bit cheaper, overall, I think. If you add each of those things in (passive entry, active cruise, etc ) it gets quite expensive in the BMW. I didn't think passive entry (you walk up to the car and open the locked door without taking a key out of your pocket, then push a button to start the car) was going to be anything but a novelty but it ended up being one of my favorite things actually. You'll just have to try it for yourself. I am not wild about the automatic with sport shifting. The whole thing is kind of gimmicky and the cars performance is fine in the regular mode. I get much lower mileage when I forget to upshift. I'd rather the manual, but it doesn't exist for this model. The red color is really cool.

Most reliable and luxury car I've owned

The lexus IS 350 is an amazing vehicle, power is not a problem the 306 hp will do, it has a very quiet engine , 6 speed automatic transmition is an A+, easy when parking, the electronic steering wheel feels great at all times and the back up camara helps when leaving the lot, the handling is owsome. I'm glad it comes with a rear wheel drive, the navigation sistem is incredible helpfull and easy to operate also is the bluetooth. the audio sistem is incredible, the inside ilumination is beautiful, interior and exterior are beautiful too , the ventiladed front seats feels great, lots of airbags, bottles and cup holders, driver seat is comfortable, I wish it was a little roomierl in the back but it worth it. the trunk capacity is good. If you want a luxury, fast and a stylish car this is a great option
