This truck will outlive me. Every ounce of me wanted a Land Rover, but its impossible to beat the reliability of the Land Cruiser. Search far and wide and you will not find a more reliable vehicle.

I was reluctant to test drive it at first because it wasn't what I came on the lot to see. It was almost 20 years old and I didn't know anything about them. But the moment I hit the street on the test drive......it was mine. I have never enjoyed driving a vehicle as much as I enjoy driving this. Heated Seats, leather stitching on the steering wheel , and LAWD all the gadgets....and they still worked. The gas mpg will be a bit of a shocker at first, but to me it's worth it. Lexus really got it right with the 1999 LX 470.

I bought this vehicle new in late 1998. It now has 356000 miles, engine runs like new, doesn't use a drop off oil between changes, (Mobil 1 5W-30). 4-wheels through sand, mud, snow fantastic, (all 4 wheels locking differentials). Fantastic on long and short trips. Expensive on gas and parts, (when needed). Love it!

This Lexus SUV has been great. We have been driving it for 14 years and it always ran, and ran well. The cargo room is fantastic, and we love that the third row of seats can easily come all the way out. A solid car in all types of weather and great in snow!

I have different luxury SUV's in the past but I kept my 1999 LX 470 simply because she's so adorable in comfort & looks. I never had a problem with my LX that has 117K mileage and still running great &gives me comfortable long distance drive for my family vacations & all that. I have 3 Lexus vehicles (LX,RX & GS) and I just loved them.

Can be retro fitted for turrits if needed.Good a/c for the desert.Glides over the mountain terrain. AHC good for going over rocks and boulders.

The Lexus LX470 is twelve years old but it handles just like it came off the show room floor. The LX at purchase mileage was 64,000 miles. Dove the beast to parris island sc and it did so well there and back strong quiet and safe! Truly it is almost hard to believe a twelve year old vehicle could perform so well! I will keep her until the end of time! Happy'
