2017 Lexus RX 350 consumer reviews

Just completed a 5k trip with this car. While driving though Missouri the electronics flashed that I need maintenance. Didn't tell me if was critical or just normal maintenance. I stopped the car in case it was critical and began leafing through the owners manual. After a few minutes of searching, I gave up looking and began to get nervous since I was stopped on an Interstate highway. Called the dealer and they said that everything was probably ok. When I got home I took the car in for service and found out the car was telling me I needed a TIRE ROTATION! I appreciate that the car keeps track of such things but my concerns could have been eliminated if it said something like "regular maintenance". Also if it does need maintenance tell me when I start the car in the A.M. , not during the drive since it distracts the driver from the road. Also can't use the directions feature and listening to the radio. If the radio is playing you cannot hear the app speaking and giving you directions. Radio should mute while giving directions.

I owned this vehicle for over 3 year and had 55K miles on the vehicle when I traded it in. It was an RX350 base model that had a luxury package. Each time I had the vehicle into the Lexus dealership for oil changes I would tell them that the vehicle is shifting very weird and after making a turn, to accelerate I would almost need to put the vehicle into passing gear to get it moving. I feel that this issue was not isolated to just my RX-350, but all vehicle of this style. Each time when I picked up the vehicle from service they would tell me that they had a program update they they uploaded or the "Vehicle is learning how you drive". If it didn't learn after 50K+ miles, it was never going to figure out how I drove. The service people at the Lexus dealership were all great, i felt like they heard the same thing from RX owners over and over again each day and they had a standard answer that they were being told to tell the customer. There is either an engine / transmission mismatch or this transmission is not meant for this vehicle. I have been driving for over 30 years and had many different types and models of cars, this is the worst vehicle I have ever owned.

Thank God for looking out for me on this adventure. Trust that. Finally got back into the market after owning an Acura TL for 15.5 years. The Lexus rides well and has ample room in the front and back. Will take a little while to get used to the new size but the features and comfort will ease the pain of saying goodbye to my old friend. The technology included and look of the car is intriguing. I’m looking forward to the first big road trip. TGBTG!!!

I love the car every thing is perfect until you have to pay for certain services like remote start come on it should be standard or a onetime fee what the xxxx lexus

Quiet, comfortable, powerful, stylish, and dependable! Excellent value for the money. I’ve owned many cars in my 76 years and this is one is one, if not the best I have ever owned.

It meets my everyday needs. Plenty of room for trips. A fun car for business and pleasure. My husband also drives a Lexus to work everyday.

I have owned three Lexus cars. You cant go wrong with these cars. Their designs are always beautiful, reliable, dependable, luxurious, and they retain value. Also for the most part the customer service at the Lexus dealers is first class.
