Awesome Daily Driver

I’m 18, my first car was handed down to me from my grandfather (98 Continental) and I loved it. It rusted out on me. I have driven 12-13 vehicles a few times and the Lincoln was by far my favorite, so I bought a 99. I love these cars. They ride fantastic, look gorgeous, and have so much power. They are good and strong cars. Love the motor and transmissions in these cars but I have had a lot of issues with other small things, apparently that’s not abnormal. Also important to watch the rust because Fords rust pretty good. But, this car is absolutely fantastic. I love driving it daily and I’ve been averaging 19.5 MPG since I got it in January. Very efficient for a V8. I’d recommend this car for daily driving to anyone who’s not looking for a flashy vehicle: looks like an old man car but old men are classy, let’s be honest. And it drives like a beast.

Nice older car. Great ride

Excellent vehicle for an older car. Rides well and is very comfortable. Purchased vehicle used but had few issues. Roomy interior and good fuel economy.

Great car. Amazing engine.

The ride is amazing. The air ride rear end makes the ride so smooth. The fact that it has the same engine as the mustang of the same year makes it launch like no other and cruise like a boat.

Black with chrome wheels

Not as good all around as my 92 lexus ls400, But for the price it's a value. 30 mpg at 55 mph. 25 at 70. Great hy ride but hard on small bumps.

Best car that I have ever owned.

Excellent service, ride, dependability, gas mileage, comfort, power, appearance, sound system, etc. Luxury car with lots of leather. Sound system is fantastic. Visibility for awareness of other vehicles is great. Minimal maintenance, easy on tires, and a joy to ride for years. I switched from my usual Cadillac Sedan Deville after driving both and reading consumer and technical reviews. Why in the world would Ford stop making it?

very nice used car for the money.

This is the best riding and most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. And the gas mileage was very reasonable, 20.3 around town and on trips up to 27mpg.

smooth ride

Picked up this car when I needed a ride to get me back and forth 400 miles to college. Generally rolled at about 23 mpg on the interstate. It's a big old boat, but the ride is just smooth as silk. Never had any mechanical problems in the 2 years I owned it. Not the most stylish ride and not the best fuel economy, but great for those long drives. Huge interior and tons of trunk space.
