Bad engine wiring harness *Beware*

My 2019 CLS has a bad engine wiring harness after only 50000 moles driven. This is a common problem that Mercedes know about but haven't fixed.

The 2019 CLS450 stands as the pinnacle of my car ownership experience. Its exterior styling never fails to turn heads on the road, while the interior strikes a perfect balance between sportiness and refinement, reminiscent of the S-Class. Despite initial reservations about the V6 engine, it delivers ample power for everyday driving needs. Being a low-production car, encountering another on the road is a rarity, adding to its allure. The only minor inconvenience I've encountered is getting in and out due to its low sloping roofline, but at 5'10", I've found a workaround. Owning one of these cars means possessing a true gem in the automotive world, courtesy of Mercedes-Benz.

CLS IS TOO HEAVY FOR WHEELS

Although I absolutely love my 2019 CLS 450, the excessive expensive repairs, primarily wheel replacements (replaced SIX WHEELS in 5 months and replaced NINE TIRES in 4 months), this car is TOO HEAVY FOR THESE WHEELS.

CLS450 is a hidden gem

The 2019 CLS450 is the best car I’ve ever owned. The exterior styling always catches attention when driving it. The interior is sporty yet refined with certain taste cues on par with the S-class. I was a little leery about the V6 but it has plenty of power to spare for everyday driving. It’s a low production car so you won’t see one on every corner which adds to it’s mystique. The only slight con I have is getting in the car due to it’s low slopping roof line. I’m 5’10. However, I’ve developed a way to get in and out without incident. If you have one of these cars then you have one of the gem of the auto industry and Mercedes Benz.

Do not Buy

Horrible road noise from wheels and runflat tires. Rims and tires were changed by dealer. Noise and droning was still there. Got rid of it after 4 months.

Redesign of CLS IS NOT GOOD

We previously owned a 2013 CLS that was the best car we had ever owned and driven. We were expecting at least the same or better in a 2019. We have been so disappointed. The run flat tires are a disaster. We have had the car a little over a year and we have damaged 4. We have purchased new tires and rims to get away from the run flats, but no spare tire. Appears to be an engineering defect.

Better Then I even thought

I have owned BMW, Maserati, Land Rover, Volvo etc.. I test drove Audi RS5, RS7 as well as Volvo's and others. All felt numb or too much power not enough personality This CLS450 is just right... perfect amount of luxury, with some of the coolest features and bling.. Drives so smooth, has great power.( not a race car) but more then most need. Looks amazing and a bit sporty compared to the sclass. great stereo, seats and features.. Rides very smooth even in sports mode. Make sure you get the air suspension. Great engine.
