Great Station Wagon

A week into having the car we drove to Phillie from Baltimore. Without knowing it I was crusing 100 mph on I-95. The car cruised liked a charm. What I can't understand is how a car two years old can reduce 50% in value !!!!

Bought used 2003 E 320

I bought this car used with only 27k miles on it, and so far have been very pleased. I know that Mercedes-Benz has had electrical problems with this car since the redesign in 2003. But isn't that what the bumper to bumper warranty is for... fixing things at the expense of the manufacturer? And hasn't anyone told you about the "Lemon Law?" If you are unhappy with your Mercedes-Benz, make sure you educate yourself and your dealer on the Lemon Law options available to you.

mercedes is the worst

the car is cheap all the way around.i bot brand new. now the car has 70k miles. look at some of the repairs. i thought mercedes was a good car.tires have slow leaks. the brakes dont react well.have to replace the brake pads every 20k miles. the light bulbs keep blowing out.the wipers suck.check engine light comes on every 20k miles. you have to replace some stupid sensor.transmission wont shift. service dept says shut the car off and let the computer reset. ac would not work they said it was the compressor for $1800.i got a second opinion it was the belt. mercedes sucks ill challange anyone.

Great Car, But. . .

I have the E500 4Matic station wagon, but the combination of handling and performance makes me forget that I am driving a station wagon. However, for all of the great performance, I have had to put up with electrical difficulties since litterally the first day. I have had the distributor replaced, and the AC blower replaced. Other than tose issues, which have been corrected under waranty, it has been a wonderful car. The air ride suspension is a nice feature for those who want a sportier feel. The acceleration is amazing, about 6 seconds to 60mph and that is great for any wagon. Even with the electrical problems, I would recomend the car because it has a massive interior, and is a lot of fun to drive.
