A Great Value
We have friend spending 10k more than we did on used domestic vehicles. A used high end car is a much better value. Fun!!

Fastest Car I have owned
Traded a 2002 E 320 with 125,000 miles for a 2006 E55 AMG. I was very happy with my E320. There is no other car out there that drives like a bank vault yet very agile. The AMG E 55 was until Cadillac arrived with the CT-V the fastest sports sedan around. 4.2 seconds from 0-60 with 517 lb. ft. of torque vs. 550 hp in the caddy with 3.9 from 0-60. You would not feel the difference although your passenger could not reach to the glove compartment during "lift off" in both cars. You can lower the chassis in the Benz for sportier driving. I'm sure the Caddy has some amenities which the Benz does not have. I feel that at the end of the day one would choose the Benz because of the uncomparable steering and ride.

60,000 mile engine mounts
Around 60,000 miles, had to replace engine mounts. Inspected by dealership and confirmed by independent mechanic. Also, rear axel seals in differentail beginning to "weap" oil. Another way to say they are starting to leak. Mechanic told me this is a very expense item to repair. Love the performance of the diesel but the realibility sucks! Is this to be expected of a Mercedes-Benz product?? By the way, dealer service rep. told me that the replacement of motor mounts at this mileage is normal for cars - go figure!

Love My MBZ
I Love my 2006 E350! 73k miles and other than scheduled maintenance, I've only had one issue with a front ball joint squeaking on one side (replaced under extended warranty). Its the most reliable car that I've owned since my 86 Maxima, and its just as solid as the day I got it; no annoying rattles or squeaks in the interior that normally come with age. I drove an S60 before this and was always at the dealer getting something replaced, won't ever buy a Volvo again! You really don't understand what a pleasure driving a car can be until you get behind the wheel of a Mercedes or BMW, its a whole other driving experience. It also provides reassurance that I'm in one of the safest cars designed.

Amazingly Cost Effective Option
What a great car! When I take this car on long trips, it routinely gets 40 MPH with the diesel engine- MUCH better than my corolla. The best thing about driving the car on the highway is that, the faster you go, the smoother and quiter the ride becomes. This car is so solid, smooth and cost-effective - just amazing.

The best Diesel made
This is my 1st MB and my 1st diesel . The engine is the cars biggest selling point. This engine starts with no problem on -10 degree mornings with no fuel additives or block heater . My millage runs a steady 34-36 per gal 9 months a year and 28-29 in winter . The controls and Nav system work great but I wish they were touch screen instead of buttons . With the diesel being 150LBS heavy up front than the gas model the car feels a little loose above 90 mph in the back end . I will be a longtime MB buyer after owning this ride for over 2 years now . MB does it right and it feels like it with every mile . I look for reasons to drive this car and all my friends love it . The maintenance of this vehicle is pricey but there is less to perform less often than most high end sedans . LOVE IT !

Best of 5
We have owned 5 Mercedes Benz models. 2 C's, Ml, R and now the E350. This is our favorite. Fit and finish is the best of all we have had. The interior is beautiful. Aside from the less then new exterior, this car is the finest we have owned.
