Best milage

This was a 350 GL Diesel the milage was great. I used to be a Chevy girl now I am a Mercedes girl . It was why I did not hesitate to purchase my 2019 GLS. My husband liked the 350 GL so well he purchased one for himself

Beautiful exterior

The GlK 250 diesel is a pain in the butt to maintain annual service. I put 2500 km on it annually and park it in the winter. The annual service charge is usually 1000 bucks. I live 3 hours away from a dealership that is only able to do service on weekdays. Bottom line the diesels need to be serviced annually which can be pricey if under miled. If you have to drive a distance to your nearest Mercedes dealership then count on doing it during the week. This was my dream vehicle but I realize it is a pain in the butt to own.

Unique luxury for rough roads

My wife's SUV does not have a 3rd row and my sedan can only seat 5. Between shuttling my kids, kid's friends, and parent's, it's time for our family to step into a luxury SUV that comfortably seats more than 5 people. I started researching all 3rd row SUVs over a month ago and the GL and GLEs checked all the boxes except for our budget. We need a car that's safe, provide a comfortable ride on this horrible Chicago roads, all wheel drive for safety/grip, power to tow my lake boat and sail boat, with solid craftsmanship that you saw in the old days. When I priced these new it was over 79k before taxes. I've been looking pre-owned models with a solid service history as it seems like the best way to go. My brother advised me to purchase from a private owner to save on markups and the ability to meet the previous owner so I'm trying that route as well. They are hard to come by which is something that I like. We don't see them on every corner or lane on the freeway.

Safe, luxurious, comfortable family car

Upraded to this suv after having a van for several years. After we upgraded, my kids actually fell asleep on long drives (something that was hard in our minivan) due to sound and ride quality. This suv is extremely plush and easy to drive, park, navigate. Not to mention it has suspension that rises at a push of a button (was helpful when we drove up to the hills to cut down our own xmas tree).

Great Car and Fun to drive

This car meets all of needs with the comfort level and convenience of the third tow. Luxurious seats and plenty of room in the 3rd row. My kids love the headrest dvd players. It rides very smooth for an SUV. For a 2013 it seems ahead of its time.

Amazing SUV but prepare yourself for maintenance

Wife and I loved it. It is stylish, strong (powerful engine), very comfortable, and it looks like a lasting vehicle. All the trimmings are very sturdy and durable, the leather is double stitched and very thick. The MPG hover on the mid teens to the low twenties, but the car is a tank, so not an issue there. The hauling/Towing abilities are amazing (easily 8 to 9k towing capacity). Suspension is AirMatic (so comfortable). Ground clearance is adjustable by sensor and manually if you are driving in a gravel area and etc. Lots of pros. However after an extensive research, and engagement with owner and dealerships, we confirmed that the maintenance is very unique. From and oil change to the Air suspension which almost certainly will break within the first 100k miles, costs are very high to maintain. Recommendation is to purchase a good warranty, a very thorough warranty.
