Hoped for better from MB

Oh my gosh, where do I begin. Bought this car starmark certified, and had to have it serviced ALL the time which is 125 miles from my home. Dealer was fine untill the last week of my extended warranty, then would not let me have an appointment. Windows and sunroof had to be repaired 2x each, 2 factory recalls which one for power steering (and made the car undrivable), dealer would not do repair even though MBUSA said it qualified for repair free, Rubber window trim discentigrated and ran down the body, paint on the plastic bumpers peeled off, windshield washer sprays fell apart, leather steering wheel also discentegrated & paint rubbed off the leather when cleaning with MB leather cleaning products. Also locks on the doors click like a machine gun everytime the car stops, like at a traffic light or stop sign. A black gooey foam comes spraying out of the A/C vents when it is on high- oh and MB does not fix any of this little stuff, but it drives you to madness when you think about what you THOUGHT you were buying. And the tiniest parts are SO expensive! Lastly, brake calipers seize so that you distroy your pads...oh and this car only has 65k miles and has been MB dealer maintained from first purchase. If you don't mind apologizing to anyone who gets into your car about what a piece of junk it is, and you like paying mechanics, well, it's your money!

Worst Pile of Junk I have Owned

I bought the ML 320 Ceritified Used. The window control panel, and the key failed twice within 2 years. It is full of plastic parts that will not last, and Mercedes will not stand by them. My first key cost $200, my 2nd one cost $260 I drove my Mustang 310k miles with minor problems. My Mercedes fell apart at 120k. If you want cheap parts and high repair costs this is the car for you.

Not Your Father's Mercedes

As with most car companies purchased by US owners the quality goes down the tubes! I found that in Indianapolis the only Mercedes dealer like to hold you hostage - these thing just quit for no good reason and mine only had 70K on the clock - best buy a bus pass if you get one of these.

Most fun Car I have Owned.

positives. Pulls boat with no effort. Fun to drive. Handles excellent. thick metal not easy to rust. negatives. Most unreliable car I have owned since 1972 when I had a Plymouth. From 80,000 to 120,000 replaced shocks, EGR, 2 window switches, CPS, vacuum lines, plugs 2 times, broken moon roof, excessive oil consumption etc.

Incredible Value

This is a performance vehicle that they made a mistake in pricing on; I couldn't believe I got it for as little as I did. Incredible handling, just the right amount of torque, fantastic high end accelleration, and did I mention the handling? Wow! With snow tires, I was driving where SUV's weren't going! No kidding. I love this car.
