Mini-Cooper is a great little car
I love my Mini-Cooper Convertible that I purchased using cars.com. It is quick, responsive and fun to drive. I've owned and enjoyed BMWs for years, and the Mini drives like a BMW. The convertible top is easy to operate and allows me to quickly and effortlessly enjoy sunny days. I find it amazingly comfortable with lots of leg room and I like the fact that it has such high safety ratings. I'm getting about 27 mpg composite even though most of my driving is stop and go city driving. The only negative I've experienced is that there is a blind spot in the outside rear-view mirrors. However, I was able to easily solve the problem by simply going to an auto parts store and buying two inexpensive convex mirrors that easily attached and solved the problem. However, it does make me wonder why the manufacturer doesn't address this problem.

Performance and gas mileage all in one !
I love this car. Power is smooth and holds the road like your driving on glue. The convertibles do have a blind spot for changing lanes but not horrible. I would recommend to anyone who wants one.

Great MINI
Bought this used 2005 MINI Cooper S and have loved every minute of driving it!! I did switch out the wheels & tires though, can't afford runflats and the regular tires run smoother anyway. Have had alot of different model cars but this is my favorite!!

best small car out there
the mini is certainly an icon, and its worthy of it. everything is in ship-shape apart from the gearbox, which has an easy-to-fix problem. it is an excellent city car, and can even haul my family of four in comfort. the engine is very peppy, as is the handling. and to add to all its other virtues, fuel economy is unmathched by any other car as fun as this

The most fun car that makes financial sense ever.
There are few vehicles that can be driven for any length of time that will not cost you a significant amount of money, this is one car that truly breaks the rules in that category, its fun to drive and gets great gas mileage with a low up front outlay, and if that's not enough throw in great resale value for the full package!

Zippy, Eyecatching, and Safe too
I bought my 2005 Mini Cooper S used in the summer of 2008. I loved her immediately and really began to enjoy driving, and made excuses just to drive somewhere. She is so zippy and cute, and she packs a punch when you really need it. She can turn on a dime, she's very responsive. I love being so tiny, and having those backup sensors, I never back into things anymore. If I'm going to be a taxi mom, I should be able to enjoy it, right? The kids love riding in the back of the Mini, there is plenty of room for both of them. They like to put their arms up like they're in a rollercoaster, they have such a blast. And, I enjoy having people yield me the right of way because they're too busy staring at my car to take it. :) In the spring of 2009, a young driver who just got her license pulled out in front of me while I was going 55 MPH on the highway with the top down. While the whole front of her car was totally crumpled and destroyed, my Mini looked like someone had just hit her good in the eye and was otherwise fine. She protected me well in the crash, I was able to walk away. Don't let the small size fool you. These are solid cars and very safe. Even the emergency crew on the scene couldn't believe the impact the Mini took and how good she looked in spite of it. I will be a Mini driver for life-- they are full of style and personality, and safe too.

Would buy it again in a heartbeat
I got one of the very first convertibles in the country and now, four plus years later, have 157,000 miles on it. It handles like stink, although it's slow off the line. The sports seats are fantastic and they have to be, with the amount of driving I do. While the major mechanical components are very reliable, there have been a lot of niggling repairs, but I figure them as part of the price. The cruise control stinks. My '95 Toyota Corolla's is ten time better.

Fun, Unique, Style, Class, Safe, and Spacious
The Mini Cooper is a car in a class of it's own. No other car provides as much fun, style, and econonomy as does the Mini. This BMW built car is extremely safe and sporty while providing an unbelievable amount of room and comfort for the driver and passenger. Back seats are large enough to transport children and small adults. Fuel economy is excellent and road handling is superb.

people magnet
This is the first car since my VW bug in the 70s that I have absolutely loved. The rest have just been transportation. It is remarkably roomy for the front seat occupants, yet even if they have to be in the back, people always want to go in the Mini. Very zippy and fun to drive. Unless you regularly haul around furniture, there is plenty of cargo room for shopping and carting around. Plus you can have a hitch installed for bike racks or other things that won't fit inside.
