Great value for the money

Bought this to replace 2016 dodge van(never again)with a family of 5 exceeded expectations by far. Drove 2 hrs around town after leaving dealer ride was smooth and body wasnt sore at all. Went with se trim with smaller motor and glad i did excellent fuel mileage and love heated seats, sunroof, push button start. Has plenty of power for my needs dont need it to run like a sports car its a family car. Yes 3rd row is a little small but im not drivin a boat gettin 13 mpg and paying 45 grand plus. Got excellent deal since it was end of year december couldnt pass it up and the warranty no other brands could compete.

Very safe car!

This is a great vehicle. Very safe. My son was t-boned in one and literally walked home. He was fine. Not a scratch on him even though he was hit on the drivers door and it totalled the vehicle. It also is a very comfortable vehicle. I have been the driver, the front seat passenger and the back seat passenger. I was very comfortable in all three places. It has good shoulder space.

Excellent All Around Family Vehicle

So far, the Outlander has exceeded expectations. Ended up getting a good deal on a GT model with the V6/ 6 speed auto combo and S-AWC system. It runs fine on 89 octane and has a good bit of pep to it. I find the front seats comfortable and it was easy to fit two cars seats in the second row, the third row is a bit cramped but definitely usable, and I love the size of the vehicle compared to other 3 row CUV's. We've towed a boat weighting approx 2200-2300 lbs and it handled the 5 hour trip perfectly fine though cruise control seemed to upset the transmission (jumped between gears a bit, even on flat roads), so I drove without it. We did use 91/93 octane for the duration of the trip and had one fuel stop. I thought gas mileage was decent, varying from 15-17 mpg at 60-65 mph. I wouldn't call it an outstanding tow vehicle, but for the half dozen times a year we need it, it's perfectly adequate. Unloaded, I've been able to get 28-30 mpg on the highway and about 20 in-city. Best part of the vehicle is the Super All-Wheel-Control system, hugely underrated in my books. Definitely better in snow and gravel/ muddy roads than our previous Outback. I will admit that I think the Subaru had better fit-and -finish, but otherwise I'm very happy replacing it with the Mitsubishi.

Affortability and style

I test drove multiple vehicles in the "affordable" 3rd row SUV range (Kia Sorento, Nissan Pathfinder) and by far this car gave us the bells and whistles we wanted without an insane price tag.
