All the earlier versions have a major hood issue

The hood has a manufacturer's defect, at speeds over 60 miles or if it's windy it bounces and shakes as if it's going to fly off, Mitsubishi's offer to fix it, is by replacing the hood with a new part that has to be painted in a local body shop this will compromise the integrity of a car, as it's not an original paint anymore and therefor devalues the car, this is considered a lemon and under the Lemon Law Mitsubishi should take the car back and fully refund the buyer.

Good Car

Comfortable, good traction, stable, quiet, handles well and affordable. The car is pretty soft on the road compared to other SUV’s. It has good visibility for the driver.

User unfriendly audio system

Would be an even more impressive vehicle if it had an AUX plug for audio devices to be hooked up to stereo system. Had to spend over $100 for a decent FM transmitter with it's own AUX plug to transmit my devices music to the car antenna.

I love it

I’ve had mine about a month now. I love it. Especially having two boys and occasionally my nephew. 3rd row is tight but it comes in handy having extra little ones with you. Yes the hood shakes a bit. But I believe it was about the weight of the vehicle when they were building it. Weight makes poor gas mileage. It’s an awesome to and from work car or going to the beach. I’m honestly very happy and I love that it doesn’t waste gas. I think others should look at the price and see what you are getting. It’s not a luxury SUV. It’s a Mitsubishi. Definitely getting a good value for the price.

Very unhappy with the 2022 outlander‘s

I had an accident in my 2016 outlander so I had to get another car right away. So I went back to Mitsubishi and got this 2022 outlander. I didn’t really have time to shop around for a car so I took this car, it has scared me so much driving this car. Don Herring Mitsubishi did allow me to get another car because I was so scared the hook was going to come off at any time. However, the new Outlander still has the same problem I’m scared every day that I drive this car I know that the accident may have caused some of the trauma that I’m going through but driving this car every day thinking that the hood is going to come off is horrible and I’m paying for this. I do believe that the dealership should warn you and make you aware of what’s going on with these cars before they sell them. because now I feel like there’s nothing else that I can do , I have to pay years for something that I’m afraid to drive. I’ve never heard of anyone getting their money back on a car, but if it was possible I would. I’m so unhappy with this purchase. I’m stuck with it and there’s nothing I can do.I would not advise anyone else to purchase this car. I’ve made many purchases of Mitsubishi cars & SUVs but this car has been the worst decision I’ve made. Customer should be advised of the problems before they make this purchase. I

This car is not safe somebody gonna get killed

The hood bounces up and down all the time it looks like the wants to fly off and it feels like the metal is to thin. The ignition push button doesn’t work sometimes I have to keep on pushing it I want to come down the incline the right will start spinning like it’s not touching the ground it’s happened a couple times and almost caused me an accident.
