The Nissan Altima is a reliable vehicle. You get a lot of power for the money, and it is very spacious. I recommend this car to a family of 4. It is also great on gas. I have owned four of these vehicles and they all have been reliable.

I only buy Nissan Altimas. Very happy with my 2015. I had a 2011 wich didn't let me down and had no problems for the 5 years that i had it. Can't wait to start new memories with my current one.

I like the car, however, I bought the car from a dealer that was not a Nissan dealer. when I bought it I found the hood would not open ad the sales guy said they would fix it but they never did. A few weeks ago I took it to the dealer where I got it for a free oil change and they could not open the hood, so since there was a recall on the hood latch for 2015 Altima's they sent me to Nissan. When I went to Wayzata Nissan they told me there was other recalls as well on the car as well as one for the rust under the metal on the trunk lid, which they said they would cover, after I called and talked to underwriting about it. but when it came to the hood latch my VIN was not covered even though the part was having the same issues as the others and failed to work after opening approx. 8-10 times in it's short life. I called the 1-800 number to file a report for underwriting again since the Nissan dealership said they had to break the grill apart to get to the cord in order to open the hood so they could fix the broken latch, so now I'm looking at 200.00 for the cord, 135.00 for the latch, and 500.00 for the grill for an issue that should be on recall. As I'm talking to the girl taking the report for underwriting she asked me if I was sure I needed to have to hood opened, I laughed and said well, yes I guess if I want to change the oil it would be a good Idea. But at $835.00 before any oil has been bought maybe I should have traded it for a FORD.
