Save on gas

Excellent on gas, 38 mpg on highway. I live 8 minutes from work and one tank last me about 33 days. I bought the SL model has everything I wanted including a BOSE system and navigation.

Reliable car

I previously owned a 1993 Nissan Altima (for 10 years) and came back because of the quality of the car. This car is roomy and safe for my family. My first 2015 Altima was totaled in a rear-end accident. I walked away with no injuries. I immediately replaced with a new Altima. I am old school and don't much care for the backup camera but it is a nice feature.

Exceptional Driving Experience

This car was hands down the best overall value out of the multiple cars I considered when making my first car purchase. This Altima provides a rare combination of luxury, reliability, and affordability.

Do Not Suggest Buying an Altima

I've used this car for commuting, transporting family, and for leisure. Within a year and a half, I've had my rubber brake pedal cover come off, seat cushion detach from the seat frame, 5 inch LCD screen black out and randomly stop working multiple times, small oil leak because of cracked oil pan gasket, lights dim when turning the steering wheel. The transmission is jumpy especially when the car has been on for a while and you're coming to a stop, or coming to a stop going down hill. I was under warranty, but no car should have these issues when BRAND NEW! Let's not forget replacing 2 of my tires multiple times to keep traction because I always have 1 wheel where the PSI always reduces. Nissan did fix all of the issues besides the tires, and lights dimming. Nissan wasn't trying to extend my warranty or give compensation as an apology for getting a bad car, and the inconvenience. I DO NOT recommend buying this car. The only positive thing about this car is the outside design, smooth ride, and spacious interior. The new Altima's outside design just looks more aggressive, they have less HP, and 'supposedly' a better CVT transmission...
